Nancy, that is quite a lot of work! I'd love to see your smile
Granny, your pic is cute. It's so awesome to see you in the 130s. Sorry about the crazy dog lady.
Ciecie, I got laundry calling me too.
Diana, so cute pic. You look more bubbly. I love the devotion. I did all of my Christmas shopping, but not feeling the Christmas anything but irritation over the commercialization, and reports of shoppers hurt
I was really irritated last night and went to bed eating these hard fruit gummies. My mechanic refuses to take responsibility for my sway bar falling apart and that irritates me when I just put 200 dollars in parts on the front end...
my hands hurt really bad as I type this so going to cut it short. WI was 178.8 today...hardly think the gummies caused that...may habe ovulated, body is out of whack...
I remember laying on the floor after getting sick, burning up with fever, praying for mercy....and I will be thankful those days are gone!!

Thanksgiving ****
Today I’m dealing with a fridge FULL of Thanksgiving leftovers. It’s like a carb/sugar/fat nightmare in there! My motivation to eat properly today came from my cheeky scale. I started (AGAIN) my latest weight loss journey and 3 weeks ago and was doing a wonderful job! I was seeing an almost daily change in the scale and was at an 8 pound difference from my very first weigh in. In trying NOT to tell myself “no” to food I really love, I’m retraining my eating habits to include more of the lower calorie foods in my plate with small amounts of the ones I previously just deprived myself of. It was working! And I know it will again as I reset my brain but the struggle is real, folks; I COULD EAT A TRUCKLOAD OF SAUSAGE STUFFING RIGHT NOW! And I’m not even truly hungry. So,as of this second,I’m reverting to my initial mindset and looking at every single food I start to put into my mouth with the phrase,” DO I WANT THIS PARTICULAR FOOD MORE THAN I WANT MY HEALTH, ENERGY AND A BODY THAT MAKES ME HAPPY?” I’ve put the stuffing back twice so far today and grabbed a piece of fruit. We can ALL kick butt by looking every hurdle in face and jumping it! I will have a bite later of stuffing so I eventually feel satisfied because I KNOW I won’t let it go without doing so and it’s okay as long as I fit it into my calorie budget or do something active to equal it out. I hope you guys can put your sausage stuffing away today too! FEELING MOTIVATED!

On round two of re-seasoning my cast iron and just used pressure cooker to make turkey broth...I see soup in my future. The nice thing about not hosting dinner this year is I don't have the leftover food to deal with.....but then again I am good about judging how much will be needed and I know my family on how much I can pawn off on them.....
So it looks like next Sunday afternoon my sister and I will be making a trip to a nearby mall to visit See's candy store. As a group we are all going to buy my mother a large amount of See's candy for Christmas. She can eat it without too many consequences. She has always been on the thin side (I know right??? go figure) and she is great at portion control.
Right now I think DH and I are going to go out for our 1 splurge meal for the week. I am thinking a salt bomb club sandwich that we share (all that processed deli meat) or maybe something else not sure yet.

Nancy - I love my cast iron! My everyday piece is a cast iron wok and I have 2 skillets, a griddle and a cast iron pizza pan I used to have a Dutch Oven but I gate to my daughter. When I cooked bread I had cast iron loaf pans (makes the best crust) and muffin pans too. Take your time seasoning! I rub grapeseed oil into mine after every use.

New and needing advice
Good evening everyone!
I'm very excited to start this journey with all of you. I just signed up for this forum because it seems like everyone is very supportive of each other. I have been trying to lose weight for about 2 years now. It seems as if no matter how much I exercise or how well I eat I still cannot seem to lose some belly fat. I lose motivation a lot too so then I end up eating badly again lol but I think that being a part of this community will help me get motivated again. Any tips or ideas? Thank you allll so much!

Hi and welcome to the check-in. I would advise you to find a food and exercise plan/routine that you can stick with for the long haul. Make it a lifestyle change and won't be as difficult. It will still be hard at times, but it's a bit easier if it's something you are comfortable with.

Good Morning. 139.0 Hold
Yesterday ate 1473 "burned" 2179
Today plan is to eat about 1179
Breakfast is sweet potatoes, walnuts, bacon, and kefir
Lunch is refried beans with peppers, onions, avocado, and salsa
Dinner is homemade hot and sour soup with wonton strips (which will add to total )
This morning is dog training with a teammate - I thought we were going to get sun but it will be foggy today
______________
Eimy - My tip is, like Diane, pick something you can do long term - a lifestyle change and then daily diligence. Posting here DAILY really helps me remember my focus.
Sassypants - I agree. Out of sight = out of mind. Package and freeze
Jendiet - sorry about your car frustrations

Good Morning, Everyone!
Last night: Nothing, too tired
This Morning: Oxycise
Calories for yesterday: 1590 +
Weigh In: 189.8
Up: .2 <------- I expected a slight bump up after the significant drop from yesterday. It always happens, so it's all good.
Have a Blessed day!

Jonah 3:10
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Kent was devastated. The police review board had said he would be relieved of active duty if he didn't take off twenty pounds. He was a good cop. How could a few pounds make that much difference? Being a policeman was the most important thing in his life. If losing weight was what was required, then that's what he would do; no two ways about it. God wants us to do whatever it takes to take care of ourselves. When we do what is right, we escape the bad consequences that come along. Kent knew what he had to do, and he did it. We know what we need to do, and with God's help we, too, will succeed.
Today's thought: It's always a good idea to do what is pleasing to God!

Hi!
Diana, GranNan...your new pictures are great!
Welcome SassyPants and Eimyyyy!
Jen, hope you get well soon!
DIET: okay, a little too much stuffing.
EXERCISE: Just knee exercises.
I am worried about my little kitty. I found some lumps where my cat was vaccinated for rabies almost one month ago. He is eating okay on wet tuna cat food, but I would feel better if he ate some other kinds of food (without hacking) and had no lumps.
