This Morning: Oxycise

Have a Blessed day and a great start to your weekend!

Psalm 146:1, 8
Praise ye the Lord, Praise the Lord, O my soul. The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous.

Dick couldn't believe everyone was against him. First, his wife started making comments about his weight. Next, it was his doctor. Now, his friends at the office. He looked the same as he always did. Why was everyone picking on him all of the sudden? Maybe he had gained a little, but that was just normal spread for a middle-aged man. He'd never worried about weight before, and he sure wasn't planning to start worrying now. Sometimes we are too blind to see when we need to lose weight. Pride gets in the way, and we aren't honest with ourselves. Ask God to help keep ego out of the way, and He will open your eyes to see what needs to be done.

Today's thought: When it comes to weight, I won't kid myself!

Ok call me paranoid.....you know I have logged all my food and watching the sodium but this whole %of body water I think there is something to it
WI grr up another 1.6 this is 3lbs in two day Body Water Percentage down more 44.1%. So I am going to experiment a bit with the diuretic I take for b/p. I am going to stop it for 5 days and see what happens. I take two medications for b/p the main one has some diuretic properties the 2nd is a diuretic that I asked for last year when I seemed to be retaining large quantities of water around my ankles and feet
I am eating clean, no processed food, simple foods chicken, onion, peppers, eggs cabbage, lettuce

ok rant over back later

Nancy - since we have the same scale I think that makes a lot of sense. I am consistently running about 49.6 to 49.8 on the water. HCTZ can throw off various mineral balances in the body and dehydrate you and Furosemide(lasix) is the one for retained water in the tissues

Down another .2. WTH? Used to be I would drop a pound of water over night and now it's 02? BUT...New bed is AMAZING.

Today: B - organic russet potato w/light cottage cheese
S - nothing this morning
L - leftover chicken breast/bok choy stir fry (SO GOOD!)
D - planning to make riced cauliflower fried rice and ground turkey stir fry but DH sometimes decides on some kind of delivery (usually THAI) on Fridays...hope he remembers I want to cook!
I do have an apple still if I need a snack, but I'm planning on leaving at 3 so I might not need it. Time to study!

Isaiah 12:5
Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Ann went out shopping for a whole new winter wardrobe. Every day of her diet, she had put money away for just this very day. She had set a goal for herself, and she promised to take herself shopping when she reached it. Now was that day, and she was overjoyed. For the first time in years, she wasn't embarrassed to go out for new things. She could walk into normal stores and pull things off the rack to wear. She could find new fashions and not worry about whether they came in her size. The whole world looked brighter. God had been so good to her, and she was thankful. Now she was going to be good to herself!

Today's thought: I'm going to treat myself to a new me!

Good morning to all
WI up another .4 and Body Water % down and 0.1 this will be day two without the diuretic. I noticed last night before bed my feet look slightly puffy so I need to keep a close eye on this. I will continue to really push my water since I tend to not drink as much on the weekend since I am more active and not in front of a computer screen.

Back later for personals
