What do you all think about my workout regimen?

I have been losing weight quite slowly, I have lost 4 lbs in the past 5 weeks. I currently weigh 182 lbs and I am 5'5".

I have been walking at around 3 mph for 3.5 miles, 4 times a week.

Then another 2 days of the week, I go to the gym, and exactly do this - rowing machine - set at medium force, I do 35 strokes in 8 intermittent rowing attempts. Then another 15 min, I do HIIT at the ellipticals. Then I do the machines like chest press for another 15 min.

So that is all my workout regimen is. Do you think this is good? Any thoughts...

(My diet plan is good, I eat small portions 4 or 5 times a day and eat nutritious food).

Thanks.

Do you do squats (or any other leg exercises)? If not, I'd suggest adding that to your routine.

For chest press, do you increase the weight as you become stronger? And how many reps? Maybe try more weight and fewer reps.

Are you eating a balanced diet, with enough vegetables, proteins, and healthy fats?

Hi Mjf

Thanks for the reply. And sorry for the delay. After reading about your comment on squats, I have decided to include them in my workout routine, and also I have included mountain climbers and stair climbing in a short workout routine.

chest press - don't have a particular rep count, I just do 3 or 4 reps to begin with.

Yes, I am very conscious of what I eat, and well informed at that too. So i eat a thoroughly well-balanced diet, most suitable for weight loss - which is neither starvation nor plenty, so that it gives me all the nutrients I need and provides room for weight loss.
