HI ladies good morning, I didnt go to bed until almost 3 and im having crazy foot pain which my chiro (I haven't been in 2 weeks) says is due to nerve pain which woke me up a couple of times when I bent it in my sleep.

So I'm tired. Yes stressed about my car and it doesn't feel good when you feel you are put on the back burner. I have never been this long without a car since I had kids.

Granny, my life? I think that is a cool back up plan..I DETEST bed bugs.some insect kind I can deal with. We actually had a neighbor ate up with them (unbeknownst to me)...my ex loved to hang around and visit and i met my babysitter (his nephew)through him...well he came over a couple times and I guess the vermin liked what they saw and unleashed **** on me. At first, I had no idea. Then my baby kept waking up with bites...I started noticing more bites then when he went to sleep and I circled them to make sure...I got home from work one day pissed at the bites on my child and I tore our bed apart...flipped the mattress on the side and THERE IT WAS the alien looking B $tch that was biting my child with her newly hatched nasties crawling around...I sprayed it mercilessly and grabbed it up and put it in a container.

I COULD NOT SLEEP...first of all the numbing thing they use before they bite would not work on me...and an adult bite would make me jump and I'd be up with a flashlight searching for the sucker...I also hated the idea of the nasties feeding on my baby..

I stressed to my ex how bad the situation was when my coworkers saw the bite and THREATENED TO FIRE ME...we got the Orkin man and we had to TAKE EVERYTHING out of the house!# peace slowly came back during the 90 day guarantee period...we were also having to move because my son destroyed property and I did not want any hitchhikers! We were buying a home in his hometown...

I love the idea of your doggie doing this. I trained our dog we have now, but basic stuff...she still chews everythING though at 7 months. Got any tips for this?

Yes, I too benefit greatly from His eye is on the sparrow.

Well, took some ibuprofen with a little milk my hand is hurting badly just to post this...so will check in later

Diana, real quick are you on any ACE inhibitors such as a -pril?

A side effect is angiodema and especially lip swelling.

Tip for the puppy. Supervision. Tether him to you or crate him when you cannot watch him and redirect him to an appropriate chew object when he goes for an inappropriate one. A 7 month old is going to chew with teeth either coming in or recently in. Freeze some big carrots. Makes a mess but they are soothing. Stuff a kong with dog food and canned food and freeze that. Tabasco is a good deterrent. The bitter sprays are ok but you have to condition most dogs to being averse and it is pretty cruel (you saturate a cloth with the stuff and hold it in their mouth until they freak out. I don't want to do that to a puppy!)

Default Beloved doggie

Keli I'm so deeply sorry to hear about the heaven bound dog you lost. I just had a dream my beloved angel was "somewhere off to camp" but coming back. She's in heaven since June. The only living creature, including humans, who has ever loved me. The pain will ease over time. I am thinking of you and hoping for your healing.
The body analysis i do is from a nutrition/supplement shop. You stand on a platform and hold two wands in which electrical current passes through and measures your weight, fat content, muscle content and water. Its similar to those at gyms.
No, it is not my first week. I was mostly in bed for the last 10 years with depression. Except to walk my old baby girl dog. Around fall, i started walking longer. In december for a month i joined a gym and did some classes and a few weights. Two months ago i joined a gym where i live now and started a mostly vegan, unprocessed food way of eating. I hit the weights hard, do classes, have started spinning and do stationary bike. I work out anywhere from 2-3+ hours a day. I weight 297 lbs and.i occasionally "fail" on eating but thats usually when i dont bring snacks or underestimate how many snacks i need. Thanks for the support. I will be having a rest day today except perhaps walking gently at a park. Hope you all have nice days

Default MARCH 2018--Up

Hi!

I am thinking about bugs. My sib's dog eats stink bugs...When you see them, you just call her...Ugh!

I ate the wrong foods yesterday: two servings of chocolate cake (those microwave single serving cakes and a small ice cream cone.) I bought lots of healthy food yesterday. I bought a loaf of soda bread and had a couple of pieces. I don't know if that will make you gain weight. It had lower sodium than other breads. I was offered a bacon egg biscuit this am, but I said no.

I did my usual home exercises, shoveled a little snow and worked out at the Y (biked 30 minutes and leisurely swim for a hour). I had only planned to swim 30 minutes, but I spent the hour talking to someone as I did kicks or breast stroke arms or sculling.

225/212.5/213.4/210 This losing wt. is really hard and I am not even under 200. Nyahhhhhhhhhh!

No, thank the Lord! I am hypothyroid. My Endo said the angioedema is more common in people with autoimmune disorders (hypothyroidism). The Endo implied the correlation of the autoimmune disorder, the Allergists thought it was a phase and could resolve itself in 10 years or so. It sounded like they thought it was related to that hormonal period of time with perimenopause.

I have noticed a bit of swelling for the last 2 days, but it's not huge. So, this is good. I am just taking notes about the symptoms.

Granny, that is the problem, she chews when we leave the house. Her owner let us use the crate to house break her but now that she is he doesn't tolerate her being crated..that spray method sounds bad...

Diana, by autoimmune hypothyroid I assume you mean hashimotos? A dr. Tried to diagnose me with that but refused to try to distinguish my problem with post partum thyroiditis. Have you ever had mononucleosis? If you have there is some evidence that your body is destroying thyroid tissue because it is similar to the proteins found on the epstein-barr virus. In that case, coconut oil, could be beneficial.

I feel better when I put coconut oil in my coffee/tea. I can just eat it straight too. If I'm doing low carb, the brain readily uses the ketones in coconut oil so my mood is less affected.

Amazon, that is cool. Great exercise

Terri, 3500 extra calorie's then your daily expenditure=1 lb. most likely water weight

Nancy, hi, thanks for the hug

I called my mechanic and he says they are finishing up with the last parts...God please hurry up and let my car come back and be sound.

WOW. NOT crating a 7 month old who has chewing issues when leaving the house and you are not the owner? I would expect the owner to accept all costs and liability of damages done while you are out of the house. And, if she has any size to her, I have seen floors torn out, walls taken out, sofas completely destroyed. That is crazy.

Yeah, our old sofa is destroyed. She loves foam. She eats mainly small stuff. My pens, my hat, kids toys...Yeah he had me fold her old crate up today...

500 kcal stinks. Head is foggy and I'm wondering if I'm going to stick to it again. Been migraine ey all day...

Good Morning. 185.6. Did not get in my steps. Spent all day in the office doing paperwork.

Had a BP scare in the afternoon. Up around 140/90 then I got all worried. I imagine that it is the sodium as I was a bit bloated and decided to drink a lot of water. It was 132/82 this am. Not so bad. Mine definitely goes up when I get cold. Since I am out in the cold all day, I will take another half losartan.

I had dreams last night of volcanoes and nuclear war. I am a Christian but not big on the whole "end times" stuff. The problem is that I know there are people in this country who want to "make it happen" and I think that got rolled up in the stress. Every day the news is so surreal.

No more word on the job front for a few weeks, I think. Brushing up a resume which I have not touched for years.

Today is my all day training and meeting a former teammate who moved to Washington State. I imagine we will do Mexican so I will focus on NOT eating the chips or the cheese. Mexican is so high in salt! Food is not planned but I will log it all. This evening I really must finish my office because Sunday we have all that mulch to move!

Jen- Wow. I would not consider it worth it to have the dog.

Teri - we do have to remind ourselves how much we have to fight to loose every single pound because we cannot succumb to the challenges that add it back on.

Diana - Enjoy the weekend!

Nancy - Hoping for a nice drop.

Default Good morning!

I am visiting my sister and her family for the weekend. We went to a high school production of Mary Poppins last night. It was very well done and enjoyed it. I am not counting cal. Today as I am planning on going out for dinner just try to eat well. Overall doing ok.
Grannynancy-I saw your comment about dreaming about the end times and being worried. I also am a Christian. I believe that my God is in control... So I just choose to believe that He is a great big God who has my life in His hands and that I will be ok regardless of what comes.... I know some would call this blind Faith.. But i just call it trusting Him and believing the Lord will provide. Prayers for strength and blessings with your job and all, that really has to be scary and for a peaceful nights sleep tonight...
God bless everyone! Prayers for all to have awesome weekend!
