I'm official. Finally. After 10 days of being so good and stuck at 180.X, the scale finally moved in the right direction. By a hair, but I'll take it. I'm amazed how happy I was just to see a NEW 2/10ths of a pound come off, but finally seeing 170-something was wonderful. :goodscale

I've been working hard on my health for over a month consistently, but the scale has been basically stuck for the last 3 weeks. I finally hit a new low this morning with a huge loss of 1/10th of a pound. :rolleyes: At least it is a new low!

The positives for last week: I stayed on plan battling my urge to eat (and drink) out of boredom. I was excellent but only progressed to a new low of 178.6.
That did not stick but I consistently stayed under 180 and my trend line is still headed in the right direction. Hip/waist measurements are still the same but I feel thinner (less bloated) and hopefully the exercise/lifting along with adequate protein is building muscle while replacing fat. If I can't have a nice scale then that is all I can hope for at this point. I do feel good and proud that I have made 7 full weeks of hanging in even with the disappointing daily weigh ins. Carry on and stay strong! |

I hesitated to post an update with my weight so fickle. Anyway, today I was shocked to see 170.4 on the scale. |
Looks like you're still going strong, KStrong!! Congratulations! I saw 179.2 this AM ... haven't been here since March so it feels good to finally have some movement. :D My goal is to be out of this thread come January 1, 2021! :cp:

Shell ~ How are you doing? I'm back straggling the line again. I did weigh in at 169.4 post vacation although I bounced around the last two weeks from 171-173 on a different scale, but I'm doing some tweaking with my intake so I expect I won't be able to hold it down. I don't dare post in the 160's thread yet. :rolleyes: I'm changing my move out rule to see how November shakes out. :)
