Good morning everyone!
WI up 1.2 this am to 167.4, the reason I can think of is lack of elimination so I am drinking some herbal tea in hopes it gets things moving. I see the Dr. this am and will mention that since I started on the diuretic I am no longer regular ..at all
Calories yesterday approx 1500 carbs 9.8 all of which were healthy veggies.
on the cold I have? I think it is taking a turn for the better, still a lot of sinus goo but the congestion in my chest feels better.
Tomorrow I am hosting a family dinner for my DH birthday. He wanted a turkey dinner so a turkey dinner it will be LOL complete with cranberries and mashed potatoes and gravy
Diana our bodies are sometimes the great mystery LOL
Ok got to run appointment is in 45 min

Girl Scout cookies.
I’ve indulged in them for breakfast and a snack and counting their calories. Had leftover soup for lunch.
Crazy day at the office. Hope everyone is doing well!!

Good evening
Just wanted to drop in and say Dr. appt went well not problems and if b/p stays in the normal range I won't need to go back for a year so yeah.
Oh found something that works naturally on me for the elimination problem, but think now that it has kicked in I will cut the tea back to 1 every other day.
See you all in the am

Good Morning. 195.4 again.
Well, dog training this am again. Until my test first of April we do a lot as a teammate is trying for her first certification test as well. It is a brutal multi-day test but necessary to have a national certification if you wind up in court because of a find made by your dog.
Nancy - Please tell me what you found. Even with the prunes and stool softeners, only going every 2-3 days and I can get there with senna but that is only supposed to be once in a while and not regular. This business of feeling bloated for a day or two is getting old. Glad the BP is going well.
Dallas, sounds like a crazy day. Our little neighbor who normally sells us the cookies has not been by. I wonder if her mother told her not to because she knows how much weight I have lost and is very encouraging. I am ok not to have the temptation. I need to just give them a donation. I like the girl scouts.
Yesterday I ate as planned plus some peanuts. Also got in 12,707 steps. Today, after training I need to really tackle my kitchen, clean out the fridge and do some food prep for the next few days

Good Morning, Everyone!
I slept really hard last night. I must have been exhausted. I feel like I slept better than I have in a long time. Not sure why or what's going on.
Last night I added on: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise Commuter Workout
Calories for yesterday: 1540 +
Weigh In: 189.4
Down: .4
Have a Blessed day!
I like today's devotion, for the most part. But the part that says the diet doesn't last forever is not true. Some semblance of the diet has to last or you will regain it all back.
Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters
February 17
John 16:33
'These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.'
Sometimes we just get tired of dieting. It takes a lot of energy to diet, and without the foods we love, we're sometimes too weak to fight any longer. Our diets become bigger and bigger burdens. If we're not careful, we can lose sight of the fact that our diet won't last forever. All things come to an end if we will only be patient enough to wait. It helps to remember the temptations of Christ; how He triumphed over them, and then, before long, how they ended. Dieting is not punishment, but discipline. Though it can be a tribulation, losing weight carries with it a special joy.
Today's thought: As the fat fades, so does the tribulation!

Good morning all,
145.1 this morning
I think this is because of not drinking anywhere near enough water, but I also was on plan, so not totally crazy number but probably a little dehydration. Will make sure I get the water in today for sure.
Diana I agree with you on the devotional, you can't have the mindset of going back to your old ways someday. The old ways are what got us to the point of having to lose weight in the first place. I'm more for developing healthy habits, like weighing and measuring. I still do that and keep track of everything I eat, it's not a chore, it's just what I do. Someone compared it to brushing your teeth, it's not the most fun thing to do, but its something you should do to take care of yourself.
GrannyNancy and Nancy I eat an apple and some cucumbers just about everyday. I read where someone said she eats an apple a day for regularity. I eat them because I like them, especially pink lady apples. I also saw where someone said not eating enough healthy fats can affect regularity. I may seem a little obsessed but I do read everything I can on sleep and regularity.

Hope everyone has a great day and weekend

Hello there you all lovely people,
may I join in (again?) I seem to always bounce in and out of this thread but whenever I stay off, I tend to gain weight. So, yes, I'm back again and I'm looking forward to seeing the old faces around as well as meeting new ones (losing osme weight would be nice too).
Few words about me, I'm a 36 years old translator with large family and I live in Europe. I follow keto diet or generally low carb diet. Currently I'm day 2 of back-to-keto so going through a major sugar withdrawal but I know it will pass soon enough.
I plan to log in every day to report on my progress, fingers crossed I stick around long enough to achieve some results!
