I need Help

Hey,

I have always been a bigger guy. Most of my adult life I was 6'3 280ish. It always bothered me. I felt terrible about it. A few times I would drop down to 220 240 and I would be like another person.

Things have been snowballing. I have gotten so big. 400 Plus, that I dont want to do anything. I dont want to excercise and somehow food has turned into a sickness. I am always thinking about my next meal, do I have enough food, should I order more.

I lost one hundred pounds about 4 years ago. It was so hard. The thought of losing 100 pounds again and still being over 300 pounds just makes me want to quit before I even start.

Please help...

Starting a plan is difficult for me as well. It can be overwhelming and I do dumb things like eat all the bad foods in the house so that they won’t be around “tomorrow when I start my program”.
Or I get through 3 days but then have a slip up and then cave r st of the day, figuring it’s slready a loss; I can restart “Tomorrow”. There’s always a social event or some excuse for me to break my plans..

I regret other things as well where “If I had started and progressively did well, I would have reached my goals by now (studying a new skill, etc)
And with weight loss, I dream of dropping rapidly and when that isn’t occurring i get discouraged.

I’m going to make mini goals.
I’m going to focus on goals and plan how to do it, and if I am not perfect I will just try to adjust, immediately, not ruin the entire day or week. Think how great you will feel!
The greater the journey the more you can be proud pf your accomplishments.

How did you do it last time? Sounds like you definitely have the willpower if you set your mind to it. You just need to tap in to that again - and you've written a post here, so you must be teetering on the edge of it again?...
Didn't you enjoy any of the process last time? Did you feel it was all worth it at the time and are now remembering it differently, or was the effort really what you were feeling back then (and not the results) If what you say is right and it was hard at the time, perhaps try some other diet this time around, because it has to be something you feel you can stick with. Maybe have a browse at the different sections on here and get a feel for what sort of plan would suit you best, or what would motivate you to get started. Good luck, you're half way to taking the plunge - we're here to give the shove!!
