Scale at 148.2 but I'm ignoring it and will for the next few days. I'm working different hours and staying up at weird hours of the night and my eating schedule is all off so there's not much point in weighing. The last few days have been super hectic with a ton of meetings and appointments. Hopefully things settle down soon. Thanks for the encouragement, nancy! I needed it today.

Breakfast: 1/2 cup milk, pb toast, pomegranate seeds
Lunch: out with friends, so half a chicken and veggie sandwich, chips, and a nutella pastry (I didn't want to lose any weight today, did I? nahhh)
Dinner: cereal

workout: 15 min weight-lifting and abs

went for a brief power walk before supper tonight. took a nap this afternoon and slept for 2 and 1/2 hours. when I woke up I thought it was 5:20 Friday morning so I took my morning medicine. then I looked at the calendar and realized that it's still Thursday. put a post-it note on the pill bottle reminding myself not to take it in the morning. my fitness goals for today have been attained.

Good Morning 212.2 new low

Yesterday I ate 1284 calories, 64 protein, 98 net carbs, 68 fat with a 6:3 ratio of 3 and walked 12,784 steps and did 14 minutes of yoga

Today I plan to eat 1208 calories, 69 protein, 124 carbs, 46 fat with a 6:3 ratio of 3 and walk 12,000 steps and do 15 minutes of yoga

Today is SIL Graduation so I am off work. Plan to try to get all my walking in first thing (charging up ipod as we speak) thought it is a bit of a cold rain and it looks like it won't get any warmer today. Maybe snow tomorrow am. With a hard freeze it will be time today to harvest the rest of the Romaine in the garden. I also need to get a birthday card for my younger daughter's 32nd birthday and may as well pick up one for the older daughter's 35th coming up next week. It was funny but when I got pregnant with the 2nd it was the first month of trying with us saying "lets have two kids mad at us for being born so close to Christmas" haha. Sorry kids. It worked.

Nancy and Kelijpa - the "change" seems to play havoc with your metabolism and it takes awhile for things to settle down. Hangi in there

Ciece - I hate when that happens. You really do feel like it is the next day.

Princessroja - just keep your focus one day at a time. I have had weight fall off a few weeks after I was good even though it did not fall off that week.

QTkitty - missing you.

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

December 8

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord they God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Toni had a dream that she was entering a room where God was. She couldn't really see Him, but she knew He was there. For some reason, He was very happy with her. He was making her feel very good, and she could tell she had done something to please Him a lot. When she gathered up her nerve, Toni asked God what she had done to make Him so happy. 'Lose weight,' was the reply. When she awakened, she felt the greatest joy she had ever known. She had really wanted to lose weight for herself, but to think that God was pleased with what she had done made the victory twice as sweet.

Today's thought: I will rejoice with God as the pounds come off!

Good morning to everyone

WI up 1.6......sodium? dunno took all week to get down only to have a spike this am.
WO none, have errands that must be done on my way home so will have to skip

Last night we met a friend for dinner and I suppose that is why the spike it really has to be sodium in the food. So will be pushing more than my normal water today.

B/P still up and still getting this anxiety feeling, oh and the hot flashes. Dr. appt is still a week and 1/2 a way but it was the only time that would work with my schedule.

well back later

nancylmrn I'm not sure what you ordered at the restaurant. But, if it was grilled protein and veggies, can you order them grilled/steamed plain? I do that if I know the place uses a lot of seasoning. Most places accommodate me, without a problem. You may be MSG sensitive. A lot of seasoning blends, sauces, etc have some sort of MSG.

Granny: I've had everything tested (vitamins and thyroid) and it's definitely a chemical imbalance. Such is life....and genetics.

Last night was the first time back at the gym in over a year. I ran a 5k, did some weights and about 40-50 flights on the Stairmaster. That machine is brutal!!! Not the type with the pedals, the actual rotating stairs. The gym just added 2 of those and all new treadmills with touchscreen tv's. Really nice.

Yay, Me! My husband joined with me so that was fun and hilarious having him come along. He's already thin but he could use the exercise.

Oof, I feel like all I'm eating is sandwiches. I've just been too busy to workout much or cook a lot these last few days (cough.at.all.cough). I'm eating when I'm hungry but eating as lightly as I can with as few sweets as I can. I'm not thrilled with the bread at every meal thing, because that's way more than I normally eat, but at least I'm still eating pretty healthfully.

I'm sure I'm just breaking even though; when I mess up my sleep schedule my body goes haywire and I'm hungry all the time. Like three snacks today?! What even is this!

Breakfast: oatmeal
snack 1: slice pb toast
lunch: grilled cheese with tomatoes and bell peppers, 1/2 clementine, square of chocolate
snack 2: 1/2 chicken sandwich with sauteed veggies
dinner: 1/4 butternut squash and kale quesadilla, banana, greek yogurt
snack 3: cereal

workout: 15 minutes stretching

Congrats to all of you, because you guys sound like you're attacking this like a boss!!

Thanks Diana

Tonight I skipped weights because my arms are too sore so I did Stairmaster 100 floors, 1,600 stairs. I fast walked the treadmill halfway through and then again after.

Back to the gym tomorrow and then Sunday is a rest day.

We finally got Netflix and been watching Stranger Things. Pretty creepy.

Have a good weekend, everyone.
