Good afternoon

WI down to 166.4 so the spike came down but still up 2.0 from last Monday. I did however make and appointment with my GP to get checked out with b/p and unusual weight gain. But I expect he will say ...eat less move more....blah blah so not very optimistic.
W/O all queued up for tonight 58 min of strength training

Granny congrats on your continued losses!

Back later for more personals

Good morning all!
155.3 this morning

DH did a juice/veggie kind of cleanse yesterday and today. I stayed within my points and tried to eat in line with the new WW plan. I got in a jog and then a Leslie Sansone 1 mile workout from YouTube which was very fun, I never did one, I see why she’s been around forever.

Diana I have to do something with our health savings account, WW didn’t use it all this year so I have to decide on the amount for next year. We have few options for health insurance so that’s pretty easy.

Ciecie you are solid, so consistent, inspiring

GrannyNancy congrats on the new low, you are doing great. Things have been going good and steady since I really started tracking my food and fitness activities. I’m thankful for that so I just keep doing that

Nancy sorry about the BP issues, hope you get resolved soon.

QTkitty glad you didn’t get too sick!

PrincessRoja nicedrop, my go to snack at the moment are pink lady apples, they are crisp, slightly tart, I cannot eat a mushy apple, so am loving these and mini cucumbers with a tbsp of ranch dressing. I get the apples and cucumbers at Aldi.

Hope everyone has a great day

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

December 5

James 1:12

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Shelley was thrilled when she was named homecoming queen. It had been a dream of hers since childhood. When she knew she was in the running, she began to diet. Weight had always been a struggle for her. This time she had great motivation, and that made all the difference in the world. She prayed for God's help, and He gave her the determination she needed to diet-and to win the crown. The crown of the pageant was one thing, but Shelley knew God had given her much more than that. Through faith, she had received life everlasting and a share in the victory of Christ Jesus.

Today's thought: My diet will end, but the lessons learned from it will last a lifetime!

Good Morning 214.8 New Low

This one is important to me because the last time I was at this weight was Sept 1,2010 when I weighed 215 so I have burst through the imaginary barrier. I know I may bounce back but, psychologically, this is meaningful to me. The journey down that time took me a year and was much bumpier with long plateaus. Before that? I have not been this weight since 1985 when my 2nd daughter was born. Onward Ho towards Onederland next.

GOAL: Calories -1030, protein-68, net carbs-64, fat-55, Omega 6:3-5, Walk 9,000 steps, Yoga 15minutes
ACTUAL: Calories -xx, protein-xx, net carbs-xx, fat-xx, Omega 6:3-xx Walk-xx Yoga -xx

Intake low today because I have a meeting from 6-8 tonight and won't have time for a "real" supper. This is a crazy day.

Congrats, grannynancy!! That is SO exciting!

and kelijpa, those apples sound yummy! I was so bummed when I got back from the grocery store thinking we still had apples at home (empires are my favorite) to eat with my aged cheddar and found there were none left. Grrr. I just discovered some hummus in the fridge though so I should be able to do carrots and hummus.

147.8 this morning. Last of the weekend spike came off and back down to my low from last week. Hopefully tomorrow there will be a new low!

Breakfast: oatmeal
Lunch: grilled cheese with tomato and bell pepper, 1/2ish cup pomegranate seeds
Dinner: fajita (with chicken, bell pepper, onion, and a pinch of sour cream), mandarin oranges, square of chocolate)
Snack: 3 energy balls, cereal
~1600 calories

Workout: 15 weight lifting and abs, 1 hour teaching ballet

Alright, that's it. I'm getting back on the wagon and there's no getting off. I'm done screwing around.

My cat passed away several weeks ago from organ failure but I since rescued a new 3-4yr old Russian Blue named Ruthie and she's a real beauty. Aruba was incredible, I NEVER wanted to leave and I can't wait to go back someday. Next is Barbados! I have 11 months to get my body back into shape. I think that's enough time, right?

I'm excited to get back to feeling more healthy. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know we did.

Let's do this!!!

Hi Everyone!

I think I am going to have to go back to lighter weights. Something is aggravating my back and it might be the heavier weights.
