Brief check-in since I've been MIA for the last few days. Didn't make such great choices this weekend food-wise, although I stayed as active as I could; trying to do better these last few days. Semi-succeeding, and struggling with reminding myself that it's okay to fall off the wagon as long as I get right back on!! Tomorrow I leave on vacation so this weekend could be a bit interesting in food choices...

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Last night I added on: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise Commuter workout

Calories for yesterday: 1540 +
Weigh In: 186.4
Down: .2

I woke at 5:30 this morning. I have no idea why, since I didn't go to bed until midnight.

We go out for Thanksgiving since it's just me and DH. Enjoy your celebrations.

Have a Blessed day!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

November 23

Matthew 13:45-46
'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.'

A diet that worked! It wasn't anything fancy. It wasn't anything expensive. It didn't involve equipment or special treatments. In fact, it was a diet that anyone could do. Sally sat and talked with her pastor for about an hour, and he helped her see why she should diet for her own good, as well as for God. Her pastor has been a support for her ever since, and she has included God every step of the way. She feels stronger than ever before. It is like finding a treasure. She was so excited and so thankful. God has given her something that no one else can: a better figure and a deep, abiding joy.

Today's thought: My weight will be lost, no matter the cost!

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving!

Weight 217.8 - another bounce up. Grrrr.
Between being a bit bloated/constipated from added Calcium (I think) and maybe the extra exercise.....it sure has not been from calories and defecits. Hopefully it will drop back down soon.

Well, after doing some research I am upping my intake - to account for a bit more protein and better nutrition with fewer supplements. Today we don't have family as the older daughter/husband/kids are celebrating with his family (they alternate years) and my younger one is slaving away preparing for her PhD comps coming up early December. .........Because no family, hubby and I are not doing Thanksgiving dinner other than roasting a chicken on the grill and eating a big serving of kale and onions. We have yardwork planned as well as the routine walking.

I really appreciate the prayers for my daughter.

I assume this will slow things down a little but it is a "lifestyle change" and not a race and the whole bone density thing has me really assessing nutrition more. I must admit there is a "splurge" in that I am eating pork sausage (Neese) this am for breakfast as well as hashbrowns with veggies. mmmmmmmmmmm.

GOAL: Calories -1307, protein-82, net carbs-91, fat-64, Omega 6:3-5.7, Walk 12,000 steps, 15 floors
ACTUAL: Calories -1091, protein-63, net carbs-87, fat-51, Omega 6:3-5.5, Walk 13,274 steps, 31 floors --

I was like but I always used Kitty. Girl beside me was like hey how about qt cause your cute. Hense the creation of qtkitty... Now there are several people who use the name on the net.. 😕

Good morning to all and happy Thanksgiving

WI up 1.0 163.4 don't know why??? Another day of my saga of head scratchers. Cal yesterday 1298, carb 19.5, protein 87.3, fat 46.9??? So why the gain, plus the 55 min Kickboxing/ab work...ah well

Today I plan to relax enjoy my family and only indulge a little, I have some really good red wine I plan to have with my dinner.

isn't the scale a fickle creature? When you know you have done everything right

Muscle. We are adding Muscle. That's my story and I am sticking to it!
I know part of mine is "solid waste" so I am detoxing with lemon water and trying to keep things moving........

I admire your tenacity. You WILL get this sorted out!

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

I had a protein shake for breakfast, off plan Thanksgiving meal at lunch, and then some cheese, ham, crackers for dinner. My goal is to stay 100% on plan until Christmas. I am extremely frustrated with my weight not budging. I am hoping there has been something wrong with my thyroid levels. I will know more about it the third week in December so I don't have much longer to wait. I am going to call the Dr. about my lack of bathroom time. I was more regular before she took me off the generic Cytomel. Now I go every couple of days and it's not much to speak of, LOL (way TMI, I know, ) I feel really bloated. This is one of the side effects of hypothyroidism. I was having hypo symptoms before dropping the Cytomel, now it's worse. I think the previous Dr. made a mistake when she lowered the Synthroid and added in the Cytomel. But who knows, we'll see next month.

I did get a 40 minute outdoor walk in this morning.

Enjoy your evening!
