Good eve all...waving

WI up 1.0 don't know what happened with that LOL always 1 step forward and two steps back sheesh
W/O day three week 8 of my 8 week program....two more days to go then I have to either reuse 1 of the two I bought or buy another one. I am leaning towards a new one ...just cause

Food wise I did very well until a former co-worker suggested we meet tonight. I ate a handful of fries with my bunless burger and 1 adult beverage. So not crazy over the top but still in lieu of the 1lbs gain.

I will catch up on personals tomorrow

D: cauliflower and sweet potato cooked in coconut milk with curry and cinnamon
D: 1 square of dark chocolate

E: Swimming! I did have to share my pool with a couple of bees but they didn’t fall in, yay! I enjoyed the swim so much. I plan to swim every day now.

Good morning all!
180.4 this morning

I'm a glutton for punishment I guess, I took Hunter for a walk and did week 6 day 2 of c25k, this is the longest it's taken me to get through the 8 weeks 2 10 minute jogs in the humidity, definitely got my sweat on, feeling DOMS in my quads, going to get to my stretches when I'm done here.

Diana Hunter got me up at 3:50 this morning, he's lucky I love him....

Magistra glad no bees joined you on your swim!

Better get moving, I'm slower than slow this morning. Hope everyone has a great day

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Randy couldn't believe how tough Bob's dad was on Bob. What was even more amazing was that Bob didn't seem to mind. Randy would have gone crazy if his own father demanded so much from him. Bob told him that his father was really a wonderful person and that he only wanted him to be the best person he could possibly be. Randy found it hard to believe, but one thing he did know: He sure wished he had as close a relationship with his own father as Bob had with his. Our heavenly Father expects a lot from us. He wants us to be everything we can be. Though He's tough on us at times, He will always stand beside us to help us when we try to improve.

Today's thought: When we aren't tough enough on ourselves, God will be as tough as we need Him to be!

Good morning everyone

Today WI up 1.6 so this week I am up almost 2lbs from Monday. And here I thought I was getting closer to the new decade how silly of me. I am hoping this is just water from my meal out last night.

W/O 1/2 done, today was a 30 min stretch and frankly I got bored and stopped, tomorrow is the last day of my 8 weeks and it will be the physical fitness test to see if I am stronger now than 8 weeks ago. I know my legs are but not sure about my upper body.

Hope you all have a wonderful day I am off for a quick shower then to the office

Hi, all!

I've been feeling bloated the last few days. I've made Fridays my weekly weigh in day. Feeling as I do, I'm preparing myself mentally for definitely not showing a loss tomorrow, and almost certainly being above last week's WI. I know it's not a true gain. I've been good on my calories and consistent with my exercise. That's something I really appreciate about tracking those things. It helps me confirm that I'm "on plan" so know that weight fluctuations are just those lovely body things, particularly the female body.

kelijpa - That app sounds just up my alley. I need to get that.

Good vibes to all.

Oh forgot to say, I got the results from my recent lab work. I'm officially no longer anemic or iron deficient! It took nearly a year to get my numbers where they should be. I'm happy to finally be there.

Hi ladies!!!

I took my exam on the 1st and felt pretty okay about it...but that might not mean anything! Went to Vegas on the 4th, stayed at Bellagio (of course), had a BLAST! We went to an upscale Thai place at Bally's for dinner that night, I had pho. I couldn't believe they had pho! It's a vietnamese dish. But it was amazing! We also shared some spring rolls and some dumplings...such a great meal! Then we went back to Bellagio to just chill for a bit...they had no fountain view rooms available so we had mountain / pool view, which ending being FABULOUS because as we sat by the window while the sun went down we could see MANY fireworks shows happening all across the horizon. It was awesome. Then down to the casino floor for craps! Won 300, gave it back plus 100 and ended the night down 140. Not terrible for all the fun!

In the morning we had breakfast at the cafe, I had an egg, bacon, and cheese crescent but removed half of the bread, country hash browns, coffee. After that, an hour or so at the pool then off to the Mirage to see the Sigfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat next...loved the big cats! White tigers, white lions, and leopards. *sigh* From there to Bally's again to see the Real Bodies exhibit. Weird and creepy, but interesting! We did all this walking...a LOT of walking and it was around 111 degrees. After all that we hung out back at Bellagio in our room before cleaning up and heading back down to the casino to play and have dinner. I had a turkey burger at the cafe and fries which i couldn't finish. After playing black jack for around 3 hours I got my 140 back plus another 100 and then gave 80 of that back in a black jack machine. Ended my trip with a whopping extra 24 bucks LOL

what a blast. and brought all 800 bucks back plus a little pocket change. AND we are going back on Tuesday for a trade show last minute!

I weighed 156.0 when we left for Vegas that morning and the night we came home 158.8. This morning I am back in the 156 range...not too shabby. Oh and I got sick the day after we got back and was on the couch all weekend, but to no avail. Went and got a z pack from the doc on Tuesday and yesterday was like 10 times better. Today a little better than that. Still coughing a lot though

today:
breakfast: chicken breast (1/2)
snack: refried beans
lunch: chicken breast (the other half), zucchini
snack: gluten free shortbread cookie
dinner: pot roast
desert: omega 3 deluxe mix (nuts, cranberries, pepitas, etc)...also had some prunes

Everyone have a great evening!!!

Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Weekend!

Syckgirlsfv Sounds like a great trip!

magistra I have gotten some really good frozen scallops from Target. Let them thaw and make sure to blot all the excess water. Sear in the pan with a little olive oil/salt/pepper, then finish off with a splash of lemon juice and pat of butter. Good stuff! But you may want to do it different.

I am ready for a weekend!

Last night I added on: Tamilee Webb's Total Body Stretch (standing)
Nothing for this morning, it's my early day.

Calories for yesterday: 1540 +
Weigh In: 180
Down: .2 <--this is surprising since it's my early day and I got to bed so late. I need to get caught up with everything and then have a couple days off so I can just sleep in and enjoy my day. I feel like I am getting worn down

Tomorrow I won't be able to sleep in. The ladies are meeting at the church to continue to work on the bulletin boards.

Have a great day and start to your weekend!

Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Ron was one of the best contractors in the business. Every job he'd ever started, he'd completed to the client's satisfaction. He never left anything undone. His reputation was beyond reproach. No one ever had to worry when they had Ron working for them. When we rely on God to help us with our dieting, we can rest assured that He will stick with us throughout the entire process. God does not give up. When He begins a job, He finishes it. We can have complete confidence in God. He will help us realize our goal.

Today's thought: With God's help, I can see this thing through to the end!

Well, I was wrong. I didn't go up this week, and I even dropped a couple of tiny ounces. I hope the bloated feeling dissipates over this next week.

Syck - Your trip sounded like a blast! Now I want to revisit Vegas! I've only been once but really enjoyed it.
Diana - Mmm, your post reminded me how much I love scallops. I don't think I've had them in years. I need to rectify that.

lunch: Boss is taking me and another lady to lunch at Cheesecake Factory today - probably get their factory chopped salad and of course, the sourdough bread is a given! maybe bring home cheesecake, not sure yet
dinner: TBD but maybe a garden burger
exercise: NONE still sick and don't want to risk it, so it's off the table for now

have a great Friday!

Good afternoon ladies,

magistra17 - Hope your foot continues to get better.

kelijpa & Chunkahlunkah

I finally saw a change on the scale today. I was 219 this morning and hopefully it will keep going down now. I'm telecommuting today so I was able to do a 45 minute walk first thing this morning before it got too hot.

Today's Log
B: FF Cappucino
L: Salad w/Shrimp
D: Chicken breast, green beens
S: Peach, Dry roasted unsalted peanuts
