Travelling to St. Louis
 

Hi all, I hope this is in the right place. If not, please excuse me as this is only my second ever post!

In September I'm travelling to St. Louis with a friend and I'm worried about visiting the Gateway Arch. I've read online that it's very cramped and the seats in the elevator pods are small and overweight people have a hard time fitting.

Has anyone else ever visited the Arch? I'm hoping to drop some pounds by then but right now I'm 5'2", about 270. :( Any personal experiences or tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks dears!
