Default Something is not right here.

So, last week I had a bit of an "off" week. I went over my calories a couple times, but by no more than 200 calories, and I only hit the gym once. So, naturally when I weighed myself this morning I wasn't expecting anything too special. I figured I hadn't lost any weight, but I didn't think it would be that bad. Last week when I weighed myself the scale said something like 197.8, and when I weighed myself THIS morning, it said 201.8! I don't see how in the world I could have gained 4 lbs when I know I didn't eat 14,000 calories worth of food.

It's not that time of the month -- I already did that this month. I also got an IUD inserted at the beginning of the month, so I guess it could be something to do with that. Or maybe I'm just bloated. But still. 4lbs? And I was so excited about getting back under 200! I'm starting to think that even going the slightest bit off track is going to completely derail me. Urgh.

I can completely understand your frustration! I am using the Ideal Protein program and weighed in on Saturday, followed the program to a T Saturday and Sunday and on Monday morning I weighed in 2 pounds heavier... And I am still 1.2 pounds heavier today. It makes me want to just run out and eat a half dozen cannoli followed by a quart of soft ice cream!

The only thing I can think of is water retention. I am going to attempt to drink my water today... 128 ounces... I've had 8 so far. Loooooooong way to go.

Hi Ladies -- (BTW Kat - love love love your avatar picture)

Don't fret or sweat! When you eat right the LAW of Nature (like gravity) is ...

IT HAS TO GO!!

I mean ... it JUST HAS TO!

So, it's probably water weight.
Or, whatever... but, just keep doing the right thing, and you WILL see results.

I gained 4 pounds the other week... I know why too.
I gained a pound over night ... I know why too.
But even IF I didn't know why -- I know that
eating less calories will MAKE my body HAVE TO get into line
and ... the pounds will HAVE TO come off!!

BTW, I did lose the 4 pounds... and, like KAT said ...
we have to drink our wa wa!!

ladies!!

WE WILL DO THIS!!
Don't lose heart!

It is almost definitely water weight. 4lbs isn't even 2 quarts of water.

Lol, so here ya go: I get home from the gym, bf announces that he's lost weight and that made me curious about my own, so I weighed myself. 199. That makes a lot more sense! Maybe it was a fluke this morning. I'm gonna weigh myself again tomorrow and see what it says.
