It looks like 12 days on plan and then I had two 1400 cal days and then 1669 calories today. Creeping away from plan! No, no, NO!
I bought yet another bike today off Craigslist. It's a funny bike I've had my eye on for years and it came up cheap. It's a Giant Revive and although super fun to ride, I feel and look a little special needs on it. It looks like a disability scooter. But, it is fun! I was planning to ride the family over to my mom's for 4th of July breakfast and parade. My girl is sick now and was throwing up so we may not be able to go...but kids get over these things lightening fast, so we'll see.

Good GREAT morning to all!!
I'm enjoying a great cup of joe this am and feel very peaceful and content. I hope the same for you.
I bumped the calories up yesterday and there was no change on the scale
Today's WI 240.0
Yesterday' calories under 1550
I don't have any special plans for the day. It is another beautiful day here ... and should get into the high 70's. PERFECTION!
I will be anxiously awaiting the news tomorrow morning to hear that all the celebrations were uneventful and safe.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Today we are having a cookout. I will eat breakfast and that one meal. That one meal will be enjoyed in moderation. My gain so far is 3 pounds. I'm sure most of that is water weight.

Good Morning, Happy 4th of July!! This will be a quick one, as I'm just heading out to the store to get ready for our festivities. Had a great weigh in today, but bummed I am just 2 OUNCES from losing 40 pounds since my journey began in March. So proud of myself, but still...2 OUNCES?! UGH!!! LOL. I already know, and planned for, going off track a little bit today for the holiday. I got up and did an hour of treadmill. A little tired today after working all weekend. Not sure when I'll head back to work...I have a flexible schedule like that I'm taking this week off, then the kids start swimming lessons next week. (for 2 weeks) I'll probably go in next week for a day or 2, then we'll just play it by ear.
Enjoy your 4th everyone...sounded like our neighborhood blew up last night. I think a lot of people celebrated last night!

Greeting, folks! I thought I might give this thread a try for July to see if chatting more might help with the weight loss. I've swept away some work responsibilities this year, and this is the first time in...forever...that I've had the luxury to focus on weight loss during the summertime. So far...not so good. I feel like I'm teetering on that balance, and one slice of pickle will cause a gain. I've done well adhering to a strict plan for the past week, and achieved a tiny bit of weight loss, so I'll keep with it to see what happens.
One good thing about summer is watermelon ! Had some for lunch and it feels like I swallowed a whole watermelon! o__O__,

Quiet day today, dh has a migraine so the kids went over to grandma's so they "could be loud", which really means watch TV and eat sugar. We will go to fireworks tonight. We went hiking at Mt St. helens yesterday. Scale still being obnoxious.

The at my house took a vacation for a couple weeks.
Too much Transition Time!! Everyone in house graduating, coming, going, celebrating, etc.
Now that all is quiet I have been dipping my toe back into Moderation, Health, and (hopefully!) weight loss!

Momofthreemonkeys Hi and welcome to the check-in. I would suggest to find something that works for you, counting calories, points, lower carbs, etc. Everyone is different. Start with something that has worked in the past, that you know you can do for a long period of time, and tweak it as you go along. Good luck!

my brother-in-law treated my sister, dad and me to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. went for a power walk after we got home. tomorrow will be a busy day for me. have to go to work tomorrow.
