So i was proving to myself the other day that HEY I Can Do Squats!...Did about 15 of them..no biggie right?
Now I can't walk...my thighs hurt SOOOO BAD..and that was two nights ago....OMG....but at least I know I can do them

It will get easier every time. I agree with fat2fitgirl that you need to have good form...sit back and push with your heels coming up. Squats make me feel more powerful than any other exercise, so it is a great ego booster.
