Inkrid that was funny...ordering that and NO steak! Where's the steak? Where's the Beef? come on fork it over

Diana I hear you on the food produced out there for us to eat when out. Who knows the content of any of it truly. I 'heard' from some that worked in food biz that lettuce is washed in a bleach solution to keep it pretty.....true for sure?, I don't know but when I hear things like this is makes my toes curl LOL
Everything is so 'innocent' looking but the prep of it all can be so hidden, like injecting meats and such. Last time we went to the Casino I wasn't prepared thinking I could hit the restaurant and get a steak. none of the 'good places' opened til later in the evening but I was forced to adapt at the 'snack bar' when starving. got a grilled chicken salad. yuck and another yuck had to push aside the tomatoes, the cukes and all the other mess, pick out the meat and ate a little lettuce and I knew then and there...my cooler I am one to pack food for my trips. So now, my cooler goes everywhere with me if I am going somewhere for any length of time. Yes I look like a fanatic maniac toting my food around but it is what makes me feel best.

HI ALL
easy day. run here and there and get things done.
have to hit store and return clothes bought for my 10 year old. wow I hate quessing what will fit or not and most times it doesn't fit right...geez I need to stop doing this but you see a good deal and a cute shirt and you try , then you end up returning it...ugh.

bacon cheese omelet
ribeye steak

nothing dramatic happening here, rainy type day, hopefully clearing later.

everyone enjoy this great tuesday!!

Stagnated for a while but hoping to regain some motivation. Food is easy but the exercise is challenging. I have too much going on, thinking about going for a short walk seems to be a huge goal.

ZCA - I am like you, I think I could honestly live on steaks. Just curious how you season/cook them. Of course I love them marinated on the BBQ, but that probably defeats the purpose with what's in the marinade Did your system have a hard time adjusting without fruits/veggies? I absolutely love fruit, but I stay away from it. When I say I love fruit, I mean its like candy to me. I do love vegetables as well, so low carb is working pretty well for me. I commend you on your success and your passion behind it!
I am super excited. My husband brought me home a "treat" yesterday...a Nordictrack! Best part? It was FREE!!! He got it thru work, someone didn't want it anymore. I did my 30 minute programmed walk last night as well as this morning! So stinking excited! I've wanted one, but wouldn't feel comfortable investing in one as we've had 2 other treadmills in the past that became clothes racks and we got rid of them. YAY!!
Beloved - so haply to hear you had such a nice time away! Sorry to hear about the plumbing issues, but glad you got it squared away.
Happy Tuesday everyone! Have a great day

Good Morning - Everyone!

Yesterday under 1000 calories. Down .6 today and .6 yesterday

Didn't get my taxes completed -- but things changed around today so I have some time to finish them later - and I'll send them and the $$ in today. I'll pay and not look back.

Today it is ... I LOVE the sun! Makes me feel more energized.

Tomorrow I begin the exercise world. I have four days of planned exercise using youtube.

I need to get some groceries in the house - so I quit staring at the cashews!

Other than that... I have read everyone's posts - I will do personals later.

Later -

Diana, I like the Wendy's Chicken Pecan salad. I know it's not for everyone, as it contains some chopped apples and some craisins, which I know some won't eat. One tip I can give you is I order the half size because the only difference is the full size one had more lettuce. You still get a full size grilled chicken breast with the half size.

Novangel, I read about that smaller one. Also, I wonder if it started after the dentist "fixed" my ugly little deformed tooth in the back. The bite felt weird after, though I thought I adjusted. Oh well.

I'm still not doing well. The day starts out well and I mess it up in the evening.

Kelijpa, can we follow eachother on Loseit? I've been using that app for probably 8 years. My user name is Zoe. I can pm you my email if you can't find it.

Hi Everyone!

Kelijpa Great job for the walking routine. How long does it take to drive from PA to NC? It seems like it would be a long drive. I am wanting to go down to the FL Keys during our Christmas vacation this year, but it seems like it would take forever to get there.

ZCA72 The bacon cheese omelet sounds delish.

Noshoes Hang in there. Hopefully the scale will start moving again for you.

Inkrid Hi

Sundove I'm glad you are getting caught up with all the medical stuff and hoping all is well. It seems like once you get a certain age they start piling on the Dr's visits. DH and I have done the regular Dr. stuff and the dentist already. Next we have eye appointments. My Dr. has also set me up with a dermatologist. They want a full body skin check to make sure all of that is good and to get a baseline of existing stuff. It's always something.

Sassypants HI

Belovedwarrior Good luck with the new exercise routine. Who are you working out with on youitube?

Wannabehealthy Thank you for the feedback about the Wendy's salad. Here's the new one: https://www.wendys.com/en-us/salads/...-chicken-salad I see it has onions and I don't like fresh onions. I need to find out if they carry it locally since it's only in limited areas.

CoolMom Keep trying. I hope today is better for you.

Chickiechooo Great job on the exercise.

Waving HI all around. Enjoy your evening.

hey everyone
Sorry no personals today. Its 2am and I want to get ready for bed. Have to be up early.

Just one personal
Coolmom I have heard that it is not uncommon that the culprit for bite issues and even TMJ to be traced back to dental work that effected the bottom surface of the tooth. It can throw off the bite.

yesterday I fell of the wagon. chocolate covered salted caramel balls from the health food store.
Today a 1 lb gain. Today's calories, about 1350. I suspect weight will remain same tomorrow. I hope no gain.
Hope everyone has a great hump day.

Good morning all,

I'm logging my food, getting my steps in, I'm sure actually losing weight is right around the corner... at any rate, my legs are feeling stronger, supposed to have some nice weather, so maybe I'll add in something, like couch to 5k...maybe

Diana we usually drive most of it one day then the last hour or so in the morning, it takes about 10 hours I think. The guy I work with lives in NY, they drove to the keys over their Easter vacation, they stopped a couple places on the way and camped at the naval air station.

Cool mom I got your pm, I think I added you, I sent you my email on the pm, so if my technical savvy didn't work...

Hope everyone is doing well!

Best to all

OK, making a Berry Bake for Breakfast today. Have a Ladies who Lunch thing at 12. Wondering if I can get one of those Starbucks snack packs and a coffee. Then will make a Veggie Soup for myself.
