We had the most fantastic storm here today. It woke us all up just slightly before 6am. The thunder was right over our house and it sounded like the sky was exploding! The whole family popped out of bed and gathered in the living room. When the lightening flashed I jumped backwards away from the window, and my son had a good laugh. The rain was coming down so hard, I thought our house was going to wash away. After a few hours it all ended and the sun popped out again. Ahh, Los Angeles, home of the flash flood! It sure was nice to get some cool weather for a change.

Man-O-Man! I just want to eat! But I'm not giving in to this feeling. I'm gonna have some tea and go to bed.

Have a nice Tuesday everybody!

Angie - I love the idea of making your own dip. I adore houmous so I wonder if I could make something similar with greek yogurt, that i can then have for lunch with carrot and pepper batons. Hmmm will have to investigate!
Nicholsfamily - well done on your lowest weight loss!
magistra17 - I am so jealous that you need coll weather. We have just cold and grey again. -1 this morning and raining. Blurgh
Diana - the sushi was lovely thank you!

So scales showed another 0.5lb gain this morning. So I have been avoiding recording my food on MFP and I think I have to start again to just remind myself of what i am eating.

Went to Bodypump class this morning first thing. My goodness does my poor body feel wobbly now! I think I will do that every Tuesday morning and it will give my ideas of harder workouts when I am on my own.
As it involves a lot of strength training I have had egg, bacon, sausage and black pudding roll for breakfast, so loads of protein. Lunch is going to be bulgar wheat, chicken and pomegranate. Supper I will make homemade chicken curry and go high on the spice, vegetables and chicken and low on the rice

happy tuesday

Diana, thanks I feel alot better this morning. whatever it was is not taking me down. happy about that. head still swimmy feeling. sinus probably. being in the South things are blooming and allergy season is coming fast.

easy day.
off for errands and such
some work and chores as usual

2 big ribeye steaks with butter today
have some pork chops if I want to substitute

I never gain. ever. I just stay the same til I drop. the drop on the scale comes whenever it wants. wish it would come faster but I don't care anymore. I lost the bulk of my lbs and now I am on the downside and just want more calmness about this whole thing

everyone enjoy the day. big sunny sky here. love that, warm weather is coming!

Weigh in: 134.0 (You already know... TOM cravings got the best of me)

Exercise: Walk on lunch. Workout after work.

Calories: 1200...which should be easy considering how miserable I feel today from yesterday's binge.

Any else good at self sabotage?...I get to a low and screw it all up. However it is what it is..I think because one side of my head says I want to get down to my initial goal weight of 125 and the other side of my head is saying that I want to maintain between 130-135. Oh well. Atleast I made it through the weekend without messing up which is a good thing. Ball season stars up mid-April so I won't have time to binge eat. Maybe I can hit my inital goal weight then!

Diana: My daughter hasn't taken the inhaler for awhile ...but then again basketball ended a few weeks ago. I'm sure she will start using it again once baseball starts up.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Here is Everyone's Daily !!

NicholsFamily1987 Congratz on breaking the weight loss record!!

Yesterday a guy friend was incensed that I was Fasting and was all "You know how to lose weight, just go to the deli and have a sandwich!" Of course I pretended that I wasn't trying to lose weight at all, and was all, "Must we always eat according to the clock? I spent a day in the city yesterday and am not hungry now." Then of course he starts talking about food and then I was starving.

So I made "Cheese"!! I blended Macadamia Nuts, Nutritional Yeast, Lemon, Salt and Water. I put it over Corn Chips. It DOES taste like Cheese, people!!

Then went to the obligatory Event Dinner. Fully with the intention to only eat the salad. Well, my friend obviously went all out. Everything was made with love and was healthy!! Salad, Chicken, Bread, Green Beans, Fruit and a Dessert!

Today will blend some frozen Cherries and make a Juice. Tonight am going out to dinner with my sister and cousin. Will order the Beet Salad as I've done it before!!

Hey don't pay the ransom "I ESCAPED"

You probably wondering where I have been the last couple of days. Well I have been in a very good place serene, carb free and feeling great. Today marks 324 continuous days on plan with no cheats.

On Sunday I went on a motorcycle ride to benefit the Tampa Shrine Hospital. Wow what a ride it was. We had about 1,000 bikes, yes one thousand in line. The ride started in Orlando at Bahia Shriners and went by police escort for about 50 miles to Seminal Harley in Sanford . The first 18 miles was on interstate 4 and the Florida state police along with the sheriff deputies shut down the interstate Northbound totally. Every on ramp had a police officer on a bike blocking traffic and at the rear two police officers on bikes rode in both lanes so that traffic could not pass. Not sure what was raised this year but last years ride earned $350,000 for the Hospital. Breakfast and lunch was included in the registration fee. Breakfast was pancakes and coffee. Guess which I had? If you guessed pancakes, then you don't know my warrior determination.

Yesterday on Monday was the Plant City Strawberry Festival Parade and I took my miniature semi truck. I had two friends riding in my trailer. One I was stationed with in Japan while in the Navy and the other friend was from the Rochester NY Shriners who I had worked with many times.

Both days the weather was just perfect, sunny and warm.

Thanks for writing me back Diana and Ciecie……it has to be hormonal or something, it just doesn't make sense otherwise. I can't afford to cheat on this diet with what I am paying for IP. I guess i will stick it out a little longer. Thank you! Best wishes to all!

hi everyone I hope you all are having a good Tuesday
I am going to attempt to do personals briefly. This is a lofty exercise for someone who tends to never be brief with words. Sorry in advance if I am terse

Just realized after writing many personals that I was on page 1. So already had to erase all the personals I wrote here I go...... again

Lorri1972 Great to meet you. Welcome ! Please just continue with what you are doing. As SunDove said there are so many variables. Are you exercising? Please be patient. As difficult as that is. We will support you here. BTW, when I was not losing it was due to hormonal stuff. The endocrine system needed a bit of help. My TSH, T3 and T4 were off due to stress. Once I got that all balanced, with medication ( both natural and RX, the weight came off.

Larry wow, the amount of money you all raised in previous years. That is so awesome. AND you are nearing the one year mark on the Atkins plan. You rock !!

Ciecie you do so well with exercising. Color me very impressed

Inkrid
amazing how you made faux cheese.

Nicholsfamily I do understand all too well what you describe re not staying on plan. When I got down to goal and started eating more off plan stuff the mind shifted back in to the old default. So it became much more difficult to stay OP. Easier to have those high calorie days. Congrats on starting weight training

!
That sounds like a very healthy mindset. Calmness. yes.

Volatis great that you are doing body pump class. WTG !!!!

Magistra your rain storm sounds so good. I love those storms. Especially when i can keep the windows open. Hear that rain. WTG re not giving in to the late night urges to eat. I need more discipline right now. Still loving that photo avatar of yours.

Novangel WTG re getting back working out. You will be buff by the end of spring, or sooner.

Kelijpa its going to be 80 degrees? Wow that is amazing. Going to get up to 60 here on Thursday. WTG re the couch to 5K. I admire that, while on my couch I hope your training in Alabama is going well

Diana I hope you are feeling well. Angioderma free right now. SO glad you found your email passwords. I keep copies of mine in my wallet. If someone stole my handbag or wallet, well... it would not be good

Lori1972 sorry that you are gaining even though you are OP with the IP plan. That's so discouraging. Just keep going. You can do it. When I was having trouble losing it was thyroid / cortisol. I got it DXed and then treated. TSH T3 and T4. For me it makes a huge difference. When i stop taking the stuff for Cortisol (T3 and T4) the results are immediate.

Angie I think you are amazing to stay on plan even when the weight loss is painfully slow. You will get to goal. Sorry it takes longer for you. But you will get there. Because of your tenacity

Coolmom So glad you are doing well and staying OP. You rock

BelovedWarrier congrats on weighing the least you have weighed in over a year. WTG !!!!!

I hope everyone is having a good day

I can only hope. I never stopped working out, I just changed from strictly cardio to majority weight training.

I do feel "smaller" so that helps considering the %&*$*# scale hasn't moved a single pound, and I can't credit muscle gain either because it doesn't happen that quickly. Oh well, at least I haven't gained.

Onward...
