So, the .6 lb gain from vacation ended up being likely water weight from some carbs and sodium. This morning I was down to 173.8...slow but sure! I will take it after a week away from the scale and from home!
I made it!!! 169.8 this morning!!! I will enter the "getting out of the 160s" discussion board now...I have a feeling I will be in there for a while...
So I started in March 13 2017 at 183lbs. On April 1, I was at 170lb. But I haven't been that strict with food the last 5 days and I didn't weigh myself. Birthday weekend. Hehe. This morning I weighed myself, I'm still 170lbs. Even when I worked out everyday. I'm a bit bummed. I just want to get into the 160s range. Need to watch what I eat the next few days.
My goal is to lose 30 lbs in 1.5 months. Good luck to me.

Keika, thanks for your encouragement! I just saw your kimono picture. I realized when I typed it that it seemed a long stretch. But to be honest, I'm happy with 149. I just want to be in the 140s. lol
Hello all. Im a member that was here a few years ago that met my goal and then some. Moved to NC and totaly went off band wagon. I got up to 180 and hated it. Time to get it back together again. This morning I weighed myself scale said 175. I normaly weigh at night before heading to bed so Ill check it again then but right now Ill take the 175. Pretty much none of my clothes fit except for the stretchy pants, even my large shirts are a bit snug. I need to get back on track & stay on track.

I'm so happy! 169 this morning. But I'm not calling it yet until Monday. Let's see how I fare this weekend. Oh please let me be in the 160s already.
I finally made it down in the 170's. For some reason I always get stuck around 180 and usually give up. But I kept on this time and was 176.4 this morning.

I'm afraid it's time for me to take my leave of this thread. After being stalled at 170 all week because of my cycle, I have finally dipped down to 169! I'll be seeing you all in the 160's thread! Best of luck, everyone! You can do it!
Well, I am at 174.8 this morning after a FIVE lb weight gain last week. I know it was water because I injured myself in a fairly serious fall and was so swollen with black eyes and lots of contusions. I slipped off my front porch, fell down 5 steps, rolled down my steep front yard and over the concrete driveway. Yikes! So after a week, I am still sore but the weight is starting to drop off again. A week ago I was at 173. I am pretty sure I still have some swelling going on and I am not really dieting but eating healthy, good food to help my body to heal. I figure another weeks and I'll be back at it!

I have been away for a couple of years, but things have slipped and this community is a great support for getting things back on track. I edged up to 179, which was a big disappointment! I was able to get back down to 174.6 for this morning weigh in, but have more to go. I am looking very large and not fitting most of my clothes, and refuse to buy new bigger ones!
Getting back to the gym was a bit of a grind, and I was feeling really wiped out-totally exhausted-after workouts. That seems to be balancing a bit and I am starting to get my strength back and have begun to run a little...very little, but it is a start!
I am hoping to get into the 160's by the end of April, and the 150's (even if it is 159.999!) by the end of May.
Looking forward to fitting into my clothes again and feeling lighter on my feet!

I was doing well last week until the Easter get-together on Sunday, but I expected that and am not upset. Hope to lose the excess weight/water/sodium in a couple of days and get right back on track. Also plan to up the exercise this week!

I am travelling for work this week, which means I am at the mercy of whatever has been catered for our business meetings and restaurant choices of others at night. Progress may stall until I am back...
I've been up and down a half pound all week, and at 174. today (hoped to be less). Yesterday I ate very well and even took a walk for 1.5 miles, but alas, my body is resisting. I'm brewing a pitcher of iced tea now and hope that if I drink enough of that and water that things will go in the right direction again!

Good Morning All! Unfortunately, my weight is holding steady but hoping for a drop tomorrow. Finally feeling well enough to exercise the past 2 days. I do think I am still holding on to some inflammation from my injuries so hopefully things will move in the right direction again as I continue to heal. 174.6 today AGAIN...ugh!
