Hi BVMarie! Copper allergies can be very serious! I'm glad you caught it right away. Good job eating clean and welcome!

Katiam! Yay! Thats a big drop! Good job staying the course. Plateaus suck.

I'm holding steady at 170.4 the past two days! I think it will happen for me sometime this week, which makes me so excited.

Gosh leopard, you are so close! You will be in the 160's soon!

Went out to eat last night because it was grocery night and had a taco salad/no shell and a few tortilla chips with salsa. That bit of salt had me at 173.8 this morning. At least I stayed below 174.

Grrrr...I decided last week that my mum's scales from the 1970s may not be so accurate, and bought a digital set. The flipside is that when I weighed myself, I was about 182lbs!

The good news is that over the past week or so I've really gotten back into healthy eating and now I'm sitting at about 178.x So now I'm saying goodbye to the 180s for good!

wemakesparksfly, boo for the new scale being off, but YAY for getting back on track and dropping down to the 170's on it!

I dropped a little water weight to 173.4 this morning. I think I am getting used to the fluctuations, it's the stalls at the same weight that irks me. But, oh well, that happens to a lot of people, so I don't worry, as long as I know I am still eating healthy!

I'm not sure what it is but for some reason whenever I get to 170 I relapse and gain weight. I have done this 3 times. I was in this thread probably 6 months ago, then relapsed, got up to low 180s over the summer of binge eating and now I'm gotten back down with good diet.

Also, I notice when I get around this weight my upper/inner thighs start looking loose/deflated I guess from being up to 250lbs several years ago. Oh well, more motive to start exercising that has to help right!

Anyway, here's to leaving the 170s in the past!

leopardspots I think you're in the clear Congrats!

Congrats, leopard!! Hope to join you there in a couple of weeks!

I have been bouncing around 173.x for a few days now. 173.4 this morning. I know it's probably from trying to finish off the leftovers from Thanksgiving. Since I labored cooking it all, I did not want it to go to waste! Now all that is gone, and I can get back to my "normal" eating.

rachelinala looks like you will leave the 170's soon if you keep it up! Good thing it was only a 10ish lb setback and not like my 40+ lb one! Take care of losing it while you are younger! I am 58 and I have the same looseness and skin that looks like crepe paper now!

I am determined this time will be the last time. I realized I have to keep my portions small, so it won't happen, again, and that fudge (I LOVE fudge and usually make a few batches this time of year), cakes, cookies, pies, and doughnuts will be a rare treat.

Way to go leopard!! We will see you in the 160s!

I have been so distant lately. I weighed in today, 176.2!! Ya! I had great weight loss this weekend which feels amazing. My goal is to be around 165-169 by Christmas! I hope I can get there. If I do, I'm rewarding myself with Christmas dinner in small portions.

172.4

Yesterday was my work xmas party and I splurged. I am not use to eating sweets I actually felt a little sick after. But feel that good soreness from working out. I'm going to work out again this morning. I am confident I will be out of the 170s a week from now!

Good luck everyone!

BVMarie, congrats on the drop! I hope you meet your Christmas goal!

rachelinala, great job on the workouts! Hope next week brings you a new decade!

As for me, still stuck at 173.4, again! My calories for the past 2 days have been around 1100-1200 and my fat just won't budge! Maybe tomorrow. There's always hope!

I thought it'd be lower today. But maybe tomorrow or even Monday I am expecting to see 169 on the scale. Fingers crossed!

rachelinala, that's great!

I finally saw a drop, too. 172.4. It's about time! Spent almost a week bouncing around 173.x! Will probably be over a week until I see the 160's, but I am okay with that.

Hi guys, I am Hallie and today I'm getting serious.
Again.
I lost all the weight after baby number one, then again after baby 2, but somehow I found myself having gained it all back as I approach baby 2's second birthday. I'm pretty discouraged, but I did it before and I know that I can do it again. The first time I lost the baby weight this forum really helped me with accountability and concrete goals, so I'm trying this again. The only way times that I've been successful at maintaining my weight is when I've stayed active, so I'm making the gym and active hobbies a priority. I look forward to getting to know you guys, thanks for reading my self-important little blurb here and letting me join you.

179.4 today.

ETA: Y'all can call me Peaches if it would be easier to use something username related.

Hi Hallie! Welcome to the thread. Besides being more active, are you doing any eating plan, or just trying to eat healthy?

Kat, I count calories and try to eat unprocessed food with an emphasis on protein and veggies. I try to totally avoid sugar and grain, but I'm not a Atkins adherent or necessarily going for ketosis. I should catch up on this thread to see what other people do!
