Introduction
 

Hi.

I used to post here on a regular basis about seven years ago. I don't know why I left. Maybe it was triggering (I have binge eating disorder)...I don't know.

Anyhow, I came back with a new name in August but haven't actually posted until today. I didn't binge eat for about two years after I stopped eating processed sugar. Then I decided I needed to experiment some more and started eating processed sugar again and gained 30 pounds in four months. I don't want to go back to OA because I don't feel like I was getting any true recovery out of it. I just want to eat like a sane person again. I haven't stepped on the scale for a few weeks because I'm afraid of what it will say.

I need accountability.

I too have found that eating sugar leads to overeating for me.
