Cramps in Ideal protein?

wondering if anybody else is getting cramps with IP? I'm stating my 8th week.

Leg cramps? TOM cramps? I get cramps in my calves (back and front) at night and in the morning now and again. My coach said when I get them in the middle of the night, take another potassium and go back to bed. I haven't actually done that yet, but at least I know that option is there in the event I can't seem to work it out. I do drink more than enough water, so that's not an issue, other than flushing it out of my system possibly. Hope this helped

Whenever I begin low-carb again (whatever the plan), I become more susceptible to cramps. This is because lower-carb plans make your body less prone to hold onto water, and more prone to dehydration. If you search on "low carb cramps" you'll find some advice.

This is what I do, and it helps me a lot:

Make sure I drink enough fluid.
Eat enough salt.
Take a magnesium supplement.
Incorporate bone broth into my meals a couple of times a week.
Avoid too much alcohol, which is a diuretic (worst cramps of my life were one night on low-carb after over-indulging)
