Default confused about my calorie intake and activity level. Help?

Okay. So I'm having a bit of trouble with calculating my calorie goals. I started exercising about a month ago and I'm doing 250 to 300 mins/week of cycling at what I'd call moderate effort (it's not easy but I'm also not killing myself).

When I'm plugging in the numbers to figure out my calorie needs it keeps asking me if I'm sedentary, lightly active, moderately active, etc. I'm really not sure what to put here. My life is mostly sedentary other than the 4 to 5 hours of cardio/week. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I would call that lightly active.

If you can wring your top out after a cycling session and sweat from it drips on the floor, I would call that moderately active.

If you also have a physical job plus the above then that would be very active.

I agree, seems to be light. I would try adding in more effort into the cycling or even try adding in some newer workouts
