All that I will tell you is that you seem to eat pretty healthy. I know you have quite a bit of conflicting advice on this thread....take what works for you and leave the rest.
Many health experts advise to eat 3 meals and 2-3 snacks, or space out your food into smaller portions. That never works for me, because I prefer to eat larger meals. I naturally prefer not to eat in the morning, so I eat a small snack in the morning and eat 2 normal/big meals for lunch and dinner I will tell you that my experience is that have have personally gotten used to a 2nd dinner (4 meals) prior to paying attention to any health issues, and my body has felt hunger for about a week until it got used to not getting that meal. Sometimes our body's hunger cues are not in sync with what they actually need, and if you are eating enough calories, it's ok to remind yourself that hunger is not an emergency. I'm sorry, I know that it's hard, especially the first week, but remind yourself that you're not going to starve on 2k calories a day, despite what your stomach is telling you. I agree with pp, that extra distractions, tea, lots of veggies, and protein are helpful. |

You're rebellious, I'm defiant :p Diets with strict rules simply aren't my cuppa tea. Defined structure is very good for some people but not everyone. |
I tell myself... when I feel hunger pangs that's my body burning fat/losing weight. blah... I have no idea if it's true, but I do tell myself that.
Like at 8pm when I'm feeling really hungry... I have a green tea and tell myself I'm totally losing weight by feeling this discomfort. It helps me not have food. |
