I've literally only lost 7 pounds (238 to 231) and suddenly my undies are too big. Like really big. They used to be tight so... Anyone else had such an experience? Is this normal lol

Well that's a good problem to have lol. I think losing that initial water weight often comes from your belly and waist area first. Plus everyone loses differently, perhaps your belly or hips or butt go first. For me I always lose in my belly and boobs first but my hips and butt take a little longer so my underwear fit fine. Oh well.

Congrats on losing that weight! Also, with clothing fit, you're very lucky!

I lose weight from my torso (and the areas the affect clothing fit) dead last. I've lost ~35 lbs so far, and everything fits me the exact same. Nothing of mine will be any looser until I'm in the low 160s or high 150s, and even then it'll still fit fairly well.

Funny story. Although I am 75 lbs down, I haven't felt like buying new panties. So I'm still wearing my big girl panties. They are absolutely swimming on me. It looks like I'm wearing a diaper. Especially since I think 20 of those pounds came from my butt (it went from round to pancake real quick). My boyfriend laughs every time he sees them.

This is sad but, 79 lbs. later I can still wear the same granny panties...I wonder what that means? BTW I have no butt (tmi) so it isn't my butt keeping them up, but my apple belly I guess. I guess it depends on where you lost/lose your weight.

This is my problem too. First thing I always seem to lose first is the booty... Which is sad, because I actually like my booty.

And it's not just undies, it's pants in general. Fit fine in the waist, but super baggy every where else.

I think that is what finally kicked me into gear. My underwear were getting so tight that I didn't want to have to buy new underwear, so I started losing weight. Now my "big" underwear fit comfortably. So... there is at least that!

YES! It was all of the sudden after about 10 pounds, I realized my undies were saggy and baggy. It IS a good problem to have!

You know what I am really waiting for is to be able to wear a smaller bra size. I miss wearing bras with underwires. I know some ladies hate them but when you get older and gravity kicks in its nice to hoist them up instead of having them droop.

So a goal for me (one of my goals anyway) is to get down to the size I can tolerate wearing underwire bras again. Then I can choose if I want wire or not. Awww... that would be heaven for me!
