A small triumph
Last night ( I was already in bed) my son called me and told me he's fallen in love . He's 36, never married. two long term broken hearted relationships had soured him on trying. So when he asked me to pick a vase of flowers for him to give her I was happy to oblige. And here is where the triumph came in. 6 months ago I'd had to have said no. I would not have been physically able to do it. I couldn't walk then-he wouldn't even have asked.
Although I was already in bed when DH told me a big storm was headed in, I got up, threw on the flood lights and walked through my gardens ( even down steps to get to snapdragons) and picked a bouquet & came in and arranged it. :) Once I grew , cut , arranged and sold my organic flowers. It has been years since I was able to do more than the Daffs right next to my door. A BIG Happy Deal for me these flowers. Surely the girl will melt with that much love & joy in this vase. |
awwww that made me all warm and fuzzy. So happy for you :bravo:

It is really great to hear that you are able to start to do things you love to do again. That alone should be a very good motivator to stay on the path to a healthier you!

If you use the website TINYPIC dot Com you can upload a picture there, then it will give you a URL to use.
