Every time I learn a bit more about myself. Just wish I would learn before doing all the damage.
So, I'm back for a fourth time - once 15 years ago, once 5 years ago, once last year and now again.
Life truly did get super busy as I took on a new full time job, sent my son off to college (where transition wasn't an easy one for him) and my 10 year old with autism had a really rough year (until recently). Add in seasonal affect disorder and I fell into alllll my old bad habits.
But, dusting self off. I know what to do, I just need to build in safety nets for a. winter blues, b. keeping carb count low
Hey, you accomplished a lot of other non-weight related things and overcame challanges and obstacles. I'd call that a successful season! And your attitude is great, good luck as you keep working on you
Welcome back. I had wondered where you disappeared to, but real life is the priority. Hopefully you can use your past experiences to aid you in a new successful journey.
Welcome back! We never stop learning. And right when we think we've got it sorted, something will change and you will discover you have to adapt and adjust... and... it's a journey, all of it.
Every day is a chance to do something good for yourself, all the little good things add up over time! Hang in there!
Melissa, it's great to see you again! Holy moly, you've had a busy year. Glad it's come back around enough to let you join us again, regardless of the circumstances. We can certainly use your practical advice and I missed your writing!
If it will make you feel any better I've been here this entire time (and exercising) and haven't managed to lose anything significant in over a year. :/
Welcome back! I know what you mean, as work as gotten crazy and my eating habits have fallen off track. I've also gained weight and I'm trying to get things under control (then weight loss).
Always followed your story, because I also have to be low-carb for my IR/PCOS.
Hey there all - thank you so much for the welcome back. I survived the long weekend (off the grid) and I was able to hop right back to staying low carb despite not being able to control my diet much this weekend (cheap food for a group is mighty carb heavy!)
