Ian, great job on the 2,000 miles. I'm almost at 1,000 and I suppose I will go for 2,000 next. Takes me a little longer to get there but I have recently stepped up my game to running 4 miles a day instead of 3.

Flower, I think the snow is pretty much done. Thank goodness. I'm soooo ready for Summer.

I didn't get to go anywhere last night. It was snowy out and my son had a lot of homework. It was just a bad day overall but today is a new day.

Off to work.

Good morning, team!

I've got my food planned out for the day and I feel great about it! I'm trying to plan PAST 4 pm. Usually I plan breakfast and lunch okay but then it's a free-for-all after that. Tonight, after parent teacher interviews and the gym, I'll meet Hugo for dinner and have a dry chicken burger (no mayo, cheese or bacon- I actually love it...thank god for ketchup!) with a side caesar. I get bread, I get protein, I get joy- it's all good!

I have it all tallied up to be UNDER my calorie goal for the day- yeah, baby!

Then, my curling game starts at 9 pm and I won't count those calories. WHAT. A. DAY, eh!?!?!?

I've got plans to go to a party this weekend and I'm nervous...there will be so much food! I'm not sure what the plan will be. Maybe it'll be a heavy duty workout weekend!

OH- Also, my online shopping reward if I complete 15 workouts in February is THIS AMAZING BACKSTREET BOYS MATCHING SWEATER AND LEGGINGS SET omg I'm 12...

Have a great day, all!

No change today to 173.8lbs.

Breakfast was mackeral, smoked oysters and oats.

For lunch, I had tuna, smoked oysters, squid and cod roe.

For exercise, I did 1 hour weight training before work and ran 4 miles before lunch.

novangel, I found 4 miles to be my sweet spot from a weight loss and a fitness perspective. I hope you do too. 3 miles was just not enough and over that (and I went up to 6 miles a day) started to burn me out. So good luck with the 4 a day. A good strategy you can try after that is to do 4 miles most days, 3 miles fast some days and longer (like, 5, 6 or more miles) slowly every now and again. I like doing that. But 4 miles a day is an excellent base.

Yesterday: 800 cals?
This morning :144.0 down 0.8 even with a slice of pizza!
Today:875 so far. Might be 1015 total.

Today was the funeral. It was ok. Everyone was doing alright enough. Tomorrow is the internment. Were going to a Chinese buffet after. Oh oh. So far there has been quite a bit of food and I've resisted. All I had at the reception today was a few cubes of cheese and half a kumquat. I've never had a kumquat before so I had to try it but I did not enjoy it! It was like eating an orange with the peel on. Hence only half. I did go to lunch before the funeral and had a blt and home fries but the portions were reasonable so I estimate 600 cals for that.

Hi Everyone!

Northernchick That is a great reward for yourself!

CoolMom Yum the fresh peach sounds great. I want to get a couple more oranges this weekend.

Flower I also want to come back as a naturally thin person with an extremely fast metabolism. Stay safe if you have to go out in the weather.

Fluffypuppy My DH has gout, too. I know how painful it is. Sending good thoughts for your Dad. Good job sticking with your food plan during this time.

Finch Good job on your day.

Jessicahayes Good luck with your run today. I don't make the pumpkin butter. I looked at several varieties and the one I get has less calories/sugar. It also has a thicker consistency than the other ones. It's Medford Farms Pure Pumpkin Butter spread. I make the zoodles. I was using a spiralizer but I wanted them to be thicker and not as long. Now I use this chopper on the smallest attachment: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/stor...FVA8gQodDAMAUg I cut the zucchini about 3 inches long and it makes nice size zoodles.

Novangel I hope today was a better day and you could get out.

Ian You are still doing great with the exercise.

Waving HI all around! Enjoy your evening!

Hey crew,

I ended up having cheesy tortellini out at dinner BUT I didnt have sauce (because I'm a child who loves plain pasta), and I only ate half of the portion. I also burned 350 with exercise today so I think I'm good. I estimated 500 for the pasta and 300 for the cheese so I am still under my calorie goal today.

I feel drained so I didn't go curling- at home, curled up in my robe instead.

Night night, wonderful people <3

Good morning everyone

Finch, hope your hump day was good. And now its Thursday. Woohoo.

Jessica, Ian

Northern you are amazing. I could never eat a half an order of pasta. I am an all or nothing kind of person. Oh... and... will you be wearing the back street boys outfit when you teach?

Diana I think I should get a zoodle maker. Thanks for mentioning it again. AND in my next lifetime I want to be athetic.

Fluffy, glad you made it through the funeral. I know these things are so hard. As for kumquats, I love them. I think they are sweeter and more sour, all at the same time, than an orange. Flavor packed.

Novangel, I hear ya re: being ready for summer. I didnt even bother going out today. And tomorrow afternoon it will be in the single digits. Not warm enough for salt to work on the roads. Well, you know.

everyone else

Weight Wenesday morning up 0.4 lb. I didnt bother going out. The roads yesterday were so bad. And it had not snowed that day. Wed. it did snow a bit. Tomorrow will be 2-3 inches. But will be way too cold for salt to work.
I am planning to emerge in the spring. Okay, just to be clear, that was a joke....maybe

Calories Wednesday were about 1200. I have realized that if I want to lose faster I need to cut back on the amount of salad I eat. It mostly is low calorie veggies except for the red bell pepper, onion and carrot. Only a tsp of oil. But I do eat a lot of it. I may try the Paleo diet. Just thinking about it right now. Although I do not eat coconut. Never liked the taste.

I hope you all have an awesome Thursday !!!

I just binged. Could have been worse, ending the day at 1600. But I was out of control. It was my risky time of day but somehow I didn't see it coming.

I think it is understandable considering the stress you are under. During the time of night when your guard was down the food monster was able to get away with some calories. But you did keep it down to a very dull roar, Fluffy. You really did.
