I went through this same thing more than once, and I just want to say... it might SEEM like a huge deal/failure/stall and that your work is not getting results, so why bother. But coming from where you are now, I will say I WISH I had just kept working out and working on my diet instead of getting frustrated, thinking my work was for nothing, and stopping. Because now I am over 60 pounds heavier. What you are doing is working and you have to give it a longer term, say a month, to see what is going on. Mix up the exercise (change to swimming or biking or add weights or something) or tweak the diet (cut out sugar or eat at different times or add more protein) but don't give up. Because where you are NOW is worth working for... and being 10, 20, 30+ pounds heavier is not somewhere you want to be.
