Definitely a good time to start measuring! I keep it simple. I measure the smallest part of my waist (that is pretty obvious on most people) and at my bellybutton (I don't know about you, but my bellybutton doesn't move!). I sometimes add some other measurements, but it's pretty simple to figure out where to measure once you get the hang of it

And yes, patience. It's hard, but I don't think it is worth making any changes unless it's been 6 weeks+ with no shift in measurement or scale. You'll just drive yourself crazy and hungry.

a binge eating therapist I saw was explaining the weight set point theory and that people have a certain weight their body wants to be. and when it goes lower the body rebels to get back to it. also as we diet, gain and lose weight the set point gets higher..it's possible your body is comfortable at 144-150. depending on your height that sounds healthy to me but that is just my personal opinion.
900 is too little IMO. you're probably starving so it's going to be very hard to avoid stuffing your face. i've had a plateau for about 4 months and didn't check my weight very often because it led me to binging. right now i check about 3 times a month but I am aiming for once a month weigh -ins.
i'm also trying to focus more on eating normally and health rather than weight otherwise I will start gaining fast.

I'm an everyday weigher, so I can understand your frustration when the scale doesn't move for four or five days straight. I just stay the course and it has never failed me. I do eventually move on from that plateau. I keep counting my calories and log everything. You can do it!

I'm a daily weigher, and seeing the scale bounce up and down or stay the same for weeks on end is something I'm used to now. I figure it's good training for maintenance when ( hopefully ) my weight stays in the same for years.

How about using other incentives such as how the clothes fit better and looser rather than pounds lost?
Also, maybe changing the exercise routine might jumpstart the weight loss once again.
Best of luck!
