i just got out of the 170's thread and hope that I don't stick around in 160's for long. took me nearly 8 months --from 170, back up to 183, back down to the 170's and finally broke the cycle! I love being in the 160's but would love it even better if i don't stay here for long! Currently 168 and hope to get to 159 by my Birthday in early November. Happy Birthday to me!
I've lost another two pounds since my last posting (down to 166). Yeah baby! My birthday is another 4 weeks away and I hope to see the 150's by then. I'm trying to keep the momentum going. My recent weigh loss has all been diet related since I can't exercise at the moment to lower back issues. I went shopping for new jeans yesterday and got into a size 10. I have a size 10 from 20 years ago that I kept that I still can't fit into, but keep it to gauge where I was when I was in college. I think my size 10 from 20 years ago will probably compare to a size 8 of this day and age. I hope everyone in this thread is doing well and moving forward in accomplishing your goals.

Thanksgiving was this weekend in Canada and I'm surprised that I didn't gain all that much considering all that I ate.
Now that TOM is gone, I'm hoping to get down to 160 asap! I'm going on two weeks seeing 162 and it's a little frustrating!

I was watching a cooking video the other day and what stuck with me is that a holiday is a holiday. I always gain between Christmas and New Years due to the huge amounts of yummy leftovers so I'm definitely going to keep that tip in mind.
I tried to look for some next-size-down pants at the thrift store yesterday and it was impossible. They have the jeans crammed in so tightly together and it all looked to be "long." I need short. I used to be so good at scouring thrift stores and now I have no patience.
I hate shopping! I do need to get some new motivation pants in the closet asap, though.

I weighed in at 160.6 today..! Not sure what the sudden drop is all about, I guess it's water weight! I'll say in this thread until I'm well into 158, I think. But so relieved to have seen that number this morning!!
