164.4 The scale isn't budging below this number!

I'm really hoping to be under 160 in 3 weeks.

wolfchan 01-21-2016 12:19 PM

163.0! It was haaaard not to go nuts on the pizza I made last night, but worth it!

Rosinante 01-21-2016 02:38 PM

Plainsgirl, thank you so much for that boost! It's stopped me diving into an (unopened, waiting for Burns Night) pack of delicious shortbread. Black decaf coffee it is, then! :)

K9Owner- WELCOME!! I am so jealous of your 13.1 status!! lol I made a promise to myself 8 years ago that I would do a 5K before my 40th Bday and made it 1 month to the day before. In fact I actually learned to love running, a fact that my previous out of shape self was quite proud of and the one thing I could point to to FINALLY helping me re-shape my lower pair shaped self. I even got cocky and claimed that I was now going to train for a 10K and then a 13.1 Welllll...that didn't happen and now I am struggling to reclaim my status as a 5Ker.... Maybe by the time i'm 50 I can double it..lol
Welcome to the thread and looking forward to watching you slide right down to the next one soon!!

I actually did 2 1/2 Marys the same yr, but then cut the running drastically, because I was no longer losing. All the cardio was counter-productive for me.
You can totally DO IT!! Just get a good training schedule that YOU can do. There are many out there. Let me know if you want a couple suggestions. I will hook you up ;)

I would LOVE to get one of those "whoosh" things over the weekend that everyone speaks so fondly of, but hey, who am I really kidding??
I did weigh again today, which is a 2016 record for me!!!
2 days of weighing in a row-- WHAT!!!
Somebody call the 3FC police because a crime has officially been committed!! :D

Starza - congrats on hitting the 150's!

Plainsgirl - glad to see the scale finally moved for you! It really helps to keep a history of weigh-ins.

wolfchan - good job resisting overdosing on pizza and the drop!

BVMarie - I hate it when my weight straddles the decades like that. Hope your workouts help with making the scale move in the right direction!

Sum38 - you are moving down very quickly. You will probably see the 150's before me for sure!

love2b - hope the scales are keeping you in the 160's!

K9Owner - welcome to the group! Hope you get to see that elusive whoosh.

Rosinante - good job avoiding the shortbread and getting your scale to cooperate!

jeminijad - you are getting closer and closer to the 150's. Hope your little backup problem got resolved!

rachelinala - So hard to be patient while waiting but the scale will drop for you!

Finally for me, I had a drop after bouncing all around 167-169 the past few days! Was so happy to see 166.8 this morning! It will probably bounce around some more, but at least it was below 167 this time!

You all are doing really well, :bravo: to everyone :)

I had a horrible few days/week. I'm back at 173.6 down from yesterday's 174.3. I am trying to get my mind back into this but yesterday took the cake. I knew exactly what I was going to do and the only reason I showed a loss this morning is due to lots of rest/sleep. I'm doing a modified version of the 1-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse and hopefully that will help. I am only modifying it because the weather is bad and I don't have all of the ingredients at the moment but when I get to go out I will surely fix that :)

wolfchan 01-22-2016 12:25 PM

162.8! Getting there!

Sum38 01-22-2016 02:46 PM

166.6

K9Owner 01-22-2016 05:33 PM

Katiam: Keep progressing downwards! You can do it!

Holding strong at 170.0! :carrot: If I would shake it like this carrot, I may lose a few lbs!

jeminijad 01-22-2016 08:25 PM

161.2.

Today I ate at maintenance, deliberately (1800 cals.) That was my normal day + a brownie from a Ghirardelli mix with a scoop of Haagen Dazs vanilla.

No more cheap ice cream!

K9Owner 01-23-2016 10:36 AM

168.4

wolfchan 01-23-2016 10:37 AM

162.2! And here I thought I'd overdone it at dinner yesterday. :)

Sum38 01-23-2016 12:57 PM

Gotta love the first few weeks of weight loss when the pounds just fly off... 165.4

Feeling a lot less bloated!

K9Owner 01-24-2016 04:47 AM

Sum: I'm excited to be losing with you again ;)
We should start a creative challenge in Feb. whatever is comfortable for your back.
