Correct. Cup size is measured as the number of inches larger than band size. For example, D is 4 inches larger than band size. So, with a 34 inch band, a D cup is 38 inches, whereas with a 40 inch band, a D cup would be 44 inches.

BeachBreeze2010 - I agree fat doesn't seem to come off evenly - worse I fear that owing to my age (42), fat has decidedly found its way in my breasts and refuses to come off from there! 4 yrs ago, I weighed the same as I do now (195 lbs) and my breasts were somewhat smaller then as I recall all these old XL shirts fitting me fine then...

nonameslob - I too noticed the similarity in our starting weight/weight loss progression and goal weight. Maybe we could be best weight loss buddies!
