I wasn't on a diet when I went to NYC, but I had a hotel room w/a kitchenette. Then like I wanted a really good pastrami sandwich, but those things are huge. I ate part and stored the rest and got french bread at a bakery to make more smaller sandwiches.
Too much steak at the steak restaurant so brought that back Got a mess of deserts from Jrs. cheesecakes, canolli's etc - ate some rest in frig to enjoy throughout the week. Make sure you have a pedometer - I walked 10-15 miles a day (but I am a walker) and lost 5 lbs. Oh and took a bicycle tour of lower manhattan, that was really neat. |
