Hi everyone. Just found this fabulous website and looking forward to joining you on the trip to Onederland. I have not been under 200# since I got married and that was 45 years ago! Age has caught up with me and all the damage I've done to my body - 2 knee replacements and spinal fusion along with thyroid cancer and a melanoma skin cancer.

I now have a new 11 month old grand baby that I adore more than anything and need to get into shape!

I use myfitnesspal.com and do intermittent fasting.

Welcome iamlakeview I do IF as well (5:2). I think you will find this place very motivating!

I thought I could get to Onederland by the end of April, but I didn't, and that's okay. It will happen in May! Time to get back on track.

Welcome all!

This week was a bit frustrating as I was exercising more, eating the same and gaining weight. It "appeared" that I was ovulating early (again). After half a year of barely ovulating, to have two months in a row with SHORT cycles and a true ovulation is a twist in this whole weight loss thing.

I had gotten down to 233, then when to 234.1, then 234.9, 235.1 and this morning down to 233.9. "If" I did ovulate, I should have a bit of a "true" whoosh of getting below 233 and according to my little gizmos and tracking, I "should' be losing about 2 pounds a week... Well, the scale has been hovering around 233-234 for two weeks (typical for me during the first half of a menstrual cycle)... Now I'll see if I get reward to getting out of the 230s. That would be very, very nice!

Walking more and more to up the exercise. Today is mowing SUPER tall grass with an electric mower.

Today was juice day for me and it went by very fast as I had to set up a new computer for hubby. Gotta love Windows 8. NOT! I can get lost for hours and NEVER think about food once! Such a nice feeling... Hope everyone else glided through today, too.

I don't know why, but seeing 230.0 on the scale today made it feel much closer to onederland. It will feel even more so when it reads 229.9!

I tell you, our mind is a funny, funny thing!

I was extra careful about my eating this week and I guess it paid off; I got a 4.5 pound woosh, putting me back to the all-time low I reached of 205.5 last month. Didn't go running as planned last night, but will be doing it tonight instead. I'm in the middle of week 8 on C25K so I'm almost done; after that I figure I'll run for half an hour every other night and see if I can increase my distance any.

I'm hoping I can get under 200 in another month or so!

Thanks, Melissa! It's been exhausting, but I feel so blessed to have a hubby and MIL that are so supportive and helpful! It's also been much easier now that I'm finally on anxiety meds, as it has eased a lot of the daily stress. I just keep reminding myself that I have to be healthier to be here for my family.

I'm so happy to see you making progress! I could tell you were really down when you first returned but you seem so much happier now.

Broke into the 220s today. Seeing I only have to lose 50 some pounds seems so much better than 60 some pounds.

Your doing awesome! Just keep it up and you'll get there.

Well weigh in today was 211.8. 12 more lbs and I'll be in onederland, I can't wait!

Way to go Streudel!

And I have a jump up on the scale today, but I'm pretty sure it's water weight from having pie and ice cream yesterday. It was a pretty active day overall and spot on despite the dessert. Even my calories for the day weren't high - around 1750-1800 which, including a dessert, is pretty good! But even with the jump up on the scale, it didn't go to the 230s!

I am so jumping back on the Onderland bandwagon. I have spent a year making excuses for my weight going back up from 225 to 263. Fact is, I hit 225 and got complacent and lazy.

Here's to starting again. I can't wait to toot my Onderland horn.
