The last time I crossed that threshold was Sept 2010. I got all the way down to 175, so I thought " Surely the 200's are behind me for good ".
Except for that blip on the radar, I've been over 200 since 1997.
When I get there this time, I'm going to do whatever it takes to stay there. That means no more pretending I don't own a scale when I don't like what it has to say.

Melissa, I'm going to root for you to reach Onederland because my mother's birthday was Dec 10.
Here is my problem with Onderland. I never heard of it before I reached it. When I posted that I was under 200 everyone started congratulating me for reaching Onederland. I was so excited to finally be under 200 that staying there became my goal. All I was doing was making sure I didn't go back up, which I did a couple times, and struggling to get back down. I should be trying to get lower. 199 is NOT my goal weight! But I am just so complacent about it. " Ha Ha I'm under 200." I've been here since 2008. It's a good thing, but not the ultimate. I still need to work at getting to whatever weight brings my blood pressure and blood glucose back to normal levels without meds. That is my goal. It's a real struggle to figure out how to move to the next level.
Happy Easter Everyone!

ha! Thanks!
I got so far under 200 I thought for SURE I would never go over it again. How could I ever gain 35 pounds? Pfft... Well......
What a great thread! It's been six years (approximately) since my weight started with a "1", and fourteen since I weighed less than that!
I am sooooo looking forward to getting to Onederland. It's such a slow process - I'm hoping that seeing those numbers one day will help inspire me to do better!
And no worries Elladorine - you'll get there and you know it!
For me, I was good Friday and Saturday and took a day off for Easter. I didn't hop on the scale today as I always gain 3-5 pounds overnight after having a carby day (chocolate, easter bread, easter pretzel, PLUS a full dinner).
Back on plan today. I like the "one day off" for holiday. Not sure how I'm going to handle my younger son's birthday tomorrow though! Maybe a SLIVER of cake.
Hey everyone. Great to see so many people close to the mark or on it! I have a small ways to go unfortunately but it will be a HUGE deal to get to, even losing 55 pounds so far I still sometimes feel like.. 199? I can NEVER get THAT small! But I've got to take it one day at a time, and you all are so motivating!
Sorry for barging into this thread, but Melissa, my birthday is December 10th, as well! And like Wannabehealthy, I'm so totally rooting for you to reach your onederland goal by then!
Congrats to everyone who's made it to their onederland goal, and I wish all of you much success.

You have so many people supporting your efforts, Melissa, and also everyone else here. No matter what happened in the past, the past is over. This is now. We are going to keep moving forward. Onward and downward!
