Anyone have any idea why my scale would show 3 different weights? For example, I just weighed myself and the readings were 175.6, 160, and 176.2
I weighed myself again shortly after and the readings were the same. It has always shown 3 different readings and I'm wondering if anyone knows why and what reading is my actual weight.

It's not very old. And it does have a new battery.

Is the floor nice and level? I find that if I have my scale in one part of my kitchen, it does what you're talking about, but if I slide it back where the floor is more level, voila, I can weigh 10 times in a row and get the same reading each time.

Clean off the bottom of the scale and the floor underneath it. I sometimes get strange results if dust or something get underneath the scale.

I had the same problem with my scale. New batteries and cleaning didn't help, so I decided to buy a new one, because I couldn't handle the stress of having +/- 5pounds every day! :s:

Are you saying that first the scale reads 175.6, then 160, and then 176.2? Or are you saying that your scale shows all three numbers at once?

My scale displays a number (then occasionally a second number) and then flashes the last number. For my scale, the last number (the one that is flashing) is the weight to go with. For my scale the numbers only vary by 1 or 2 lbs.

I have the same problem. It's frustrating when you're gauging your results and looking for encouragement. My house itself seems to be the biggest culprit. Honestly crooked home! I like in a "patch" house...LOL pretty much an old coal house slapped together for miners back in the day. They didn't use levels or anything else to put these kinds of homes together. Anyway...if you have any free weights you can try moving the scale around and using the weights to find a good place to weigh yourself. Even when you find a good spot it's still advisable to keep checking.

If this isn't the problem you may have a bad scale or like others mentioned maybe it needs wiped down. Have you tried googling your model to see the reviews for it?

I hope you figure it out. Just remind yourself even if the numbers are all over the place, that they do not define you!

When that happened to my scale many years ago, I just chucked it and bought a new one. Much better. For my sanity.

If you're going to stick with that scale I'd write down the3 readings for a couple days, always weighing at the same point in your daily routine, and see if they change together.

I had a WW digital scale that worked great for years, then started acting up with different readings even after new batteries so I bought a new one after 2 days the new one got an error code and wouldn't weigh so I took it back got the same one and it's been great, it's a digital WW that does body fat, etc., not real expensive, anyway, it is very stable, so I'm finally just weighing myself once and moving on.

As mentioned above level can make a big difference, so check that out as suggested before buying a new scale that you'll have the same issues with.
