Thanks Coolmom75. I am now in the lounge. No fish, so I had a lot of chicken and Turkey instead. I hope that will be OK.

I managed to go past the delicatessen. I bought five cans of these. Hard to find outside of Europe.

Small sqiud in olive oil. I should really be buying stuff on the way back, not going out...

Syckgirl, that was one of the most nerve wrecking episodes I have seen in a while. Not sure how I feel about the new characters yet.

ChubbyCharlie, Try to stay above 1,200 cals and closer to 1,500. Eating @ 1,000 is recipe for disaster. Good luck!

chubbiecharlie, good luck. Sometimes it takes a lot of failures to become successful.

Today was quite good. I had some cashews around 1 and ate my dinner of steak salad, avocado and some veggies with teriyaki sauce at around 5:30. I also had a couple of shots of banana vodka! Oops .

Good job, Chubbycharlie! You've got this!

Diana, sending good wishes for Cody. I'm sure they'll take good care of him and he'll do just fine.

My evening didn't go as planned. The kids didn't want my spaghetti squash dish so later I supplemented with cheese sandwiches. I caved and had an open faced cheese and salami and I had more of the spaghetti squash. That brought me to 2000 cals! That's practically a binge compared to what I normally eat. Ha! I needed it. :P

I haven't posted in here in about a week! I was sick. Feeling mostly better now and happy to be back

Today was not the best day for eating. This is what I had:

Lunch:
-PBJ

Dinner:
-half a small chicken breast
-grapes

Had a rough day today and didn't get to eat until 6:30 in the evening. I was very hungry and planned to have 2 hard boiled eggs and grapes (for "lunch" if you can call it lunch that late!), but our sink was temporarily out of commission so I couldn't rinse my grapes or eggs (I rinse them to get off any bits of shell). I was so hungry and already making a PBJ for my husband that I went on and made one for myself as well. Not the best choice, not the worst. Shows that you really shouldn't wait to eat until you're really hungry and tired because you might make bad choices! If I'd thought about it some more, I could have had some nuts and a yogurt or an apple (could have rinsed it in the bathroom sink) instead of a sandwich. My sandwich was very filling though so dinner was pretty small. No veggies or dairy today, sigh.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Thanks CoolMom and Kelijpa!

I'm thinking TTOM is getting ready to start. I have had a couple days of insomnia and waking earlier than normal. On top of that, I have mentioned about a friend of ours having cancer. His situation has worsened. He has also been battling a kidney issue that was brought about from the cancer. Last night he mentioned that he doesn't want any more treatments and he is ready to go home from the hospital and die. I was tossing, turning, and waking all night.

Calories for yesterday: 1370 +
Weigh In: 162.2
Up: .2

Enjoy your day.

After no weight loss yesterday I checked my ankles and found pitting edema. I was retaining water. My cardiologist has taken me off daily water pills and instructed me to take as needed if I noticed swelling so I took one. Every hour on the hour all evening and all during the night I was in the bathroom. It worked.

I lost 4 pounds and my ankles are normal this morning.

Diana - I said a prayer for Cody he'll be just fine!

So I didn't do cardio last night...DH had to go pick up his watch at the jewelry store, because they had to send it out to change the battery. It's a special kind of watch that is completely waterproof (scuba divers can dive in them) and they have to reseal it after opening it for the battery. Anyway, I have had my eye on one for a little while - a black ceramic one with 1.25 carats in diamonds around the face and in the dials on the face. The diamonds are set around the face in gold...and the accents are gold. Let's just say it's a FABULOUS watch! The diamond are whole, not chips...I may go into to sticker shock later

Ok, food for today:
B - multi-grain hot cereal mixed with egg whites, nuked with lite jarlsberg melted on top.
s - crunchy rice roller
D - I have school, so turkey burger patty w/horseradish cheddar and zoodles on top
WINE
have a great day!

LOL I totally skipped what I brought for lunch...too much watch talk!

I have my usual romaine salad, but like yesterday it has rotisserie chicken breast and avocado. No energy nut mix since I added the chicken.

PEACE
