thirti4thirty let me know how it works for you. I can't find all of the particulars on it but it did get the ball rolling again for me. Let's hope I can keep it going. I tend to start something and then give up I hope the boys want to go to the gym tonight. I will be able to do a little more hopefully by Wednesday

thirti4thirty, I did You have 1.9 to go to make it to your 4/30 goal and I have 1.6 to make my 4/30 goal. CAN we DO IT? YES we CAN! We have to be totally OP today and have to think about how happy our hearts, minds and bodies will feeling in the morning I believe hhm is traveling, she may not have access to the internet ... can't wait till she returns

We went to the gym. I only did 34 minutes instead of my normal 61-65 but it still helped. I am down .4 to 161.6 and I am excited. Now what will be even more exciting is if that scale says 160 in the morning, it will be my present for the end of the month

well, seeing as it's the 29th and I'm mid-cycle (I always carry extra water when I'm fertile / ovulating) this ain't gonna happen. I really don't care, though...this happens every month and I'm not eating too much, or too much of anything. So I know it's hormones and will just have to wait it out. Should only be a couple days. I'm up a little again today, and again with no reason. So it's cool...I still have 6 1/2 weeks to Vegas, and though it doesn't seem likely I'll make 150, I will still try like **** and aim for it! 155 would still be lovely I'm 5'8 and look pretty slim at 155 because I have a lot of muscle.

Syckgirlsfv YOU/we will will make it to the 150's by Vegas, I'm sure of it. I was 162.6 on 3/30 it took me a month to get to 161.6 and with the way the body works that may not stick but I still of course like seeing it. As your signature says ... I'm sure you look pretty great now

love2b150 - that's right, we'll get there! I'm fairly certain I'm already back down (TMI but I was a little constipated the last 2 days and since I got to work this morning the issue has resolved itself. I now know where the extra ounces were)

I looked at MFP and over the last 2 months have only lost 2 1/2 pounds
When I got married, I had lost 17 pounds doing SBD. I was weighing in at 148 and then the day we went to Vegas (yes, married there ) I was 155 that morning due to alcohol consumption. I even saw 145 for a couple days like a month before. I guess because when I drink, I DRINK That's why I decided to stop for a while, and even though I've only lost 2 pounds it's only been a few weeks so I assume it will get better. But in my 30s (35 when we got married) a 2 month time period would be like, 10 - 15 pounds lost. ARGH! LOL, we women are just SO lucky that not only do we gain weight more easily as we age, but we are hungrier in general!

Syckgirlsfv LOL, well good for you on getting relief. I wish I could say that. I have major issues in that area. I was a pregnant cow when we got married went to the JOP in a moo moo and some shorts I was 32. Ha at least you thought about losing weight I didn't think about it until 4 years ago

Big disappointment this morning as I'm forced to realize that I'm going to end the month 2 lbs away from my goal weight for the month but HEY! I'm coming from far!!!

One big victory is that I this month I fell, binged beyond reason and then I WAS ABLE TO GO BACK TO HEALTHY HABITS. Which for me is much more significant than the number of the scale.

I'd have loved to make it to goal weight for the month though. This is the first time I'm not making it.

Yet yesterday I walked and walked...and I'm gonna do the same today too!

I know it might be due to a water retention something and also because of tommy TOM.

Let's see how all this goes tomorrow morning for the final weigh in.

I checked my stats from January 1, 2013 till now ...

In 2013 I loss 19.4lbs

So far this year I have loss 18.2lbs ... this is very encouraging. If I can lose 2lbs a month for the next 8 months I will weigh 144.8lbs by December 31st ... now tell me that's not exciting

thirty4thirty, you and I have similar stats. I only started recording my weights after losing an initial 15 pounds.
I hit rock bottom when I was uncharacteristically mean and snotty to a woman I knew back when she and I had infants. I projected my self loathing onto her, just b/c she managed to stay slim. After the party,(New Years), I looked at my bloated unrecognizable self in the mirror and knew I needed to clean up my inner life, rid myself of my food addictions and own my self defeating behaviors.

morning! I did not hit goal, but I knew that 10 days wasn't enough to get me to 160. I'd have to starve and I don't like starving!

But, I DID lose 2.4 pounds in 10 days!

It's good to remember, also, that in July of last year I got down to 158, went to Vegas, and came back 167. Didn't address that situation and went up to 172. Then, December last year, lost 7 pounds and was 165 when I went to Vegas on December 16th and came back at 172! So since then, I've lost almost 10 pounds. Not ideal, but also just doing my usual try one week and then blow it on alcohol. I didn't really start getting serious about it again until, you guessed it, 10 days ago! I haven't had a drink of booze, beer, wine, etc...in over 3 weeks. And if I have to I'll go low carb again and do SBD because when I am super fed up and can't take it any more that is what works. So today I'll be thankful for 163 and start a new goal
