Just completed my third week

I just completed my third week. It seems like FOREVER! However, the results have been super! What a feeling to be able to tie your shoes and just walk without joint pain or being winded. Started OFFICIALLY on IP at 237 on 11/17. It is now 12/10 and also weigh in night. According to my scale I am at 218! That is 19 pounds in my three weeks. I have a goal of 180. Not sure how long I can stick this out, but I am going to try at least until the end of January. The costs (both my wife and I) and high, but the results are also great.

We are glad we started before Thanksgiving, as we surely are not putting on any holiday weight!

Now TWO challenges await us, a Christmas party at a Barzilian Steakhouse (may not be too bad as of all the meats available) AND a weekend away in Boston with restaurant food.

Keep plugging all, this diet does work, but there are LOTS of sacrafices, and HUGE rewards!

Whoopy!! Well done on the 19 pounds! You're a little champ!! So proud of you!

Good luck with those two weekends away. Just remember, you've worked way too hard to let those two days get you off track. Remember to eat before you go so you will feel less tempted to eat all those other fat filled foods.

Lastly remember, it's a lifestyle change. You can do this :)

Hello there! I am from MA, too. Great going on finishing your 3rd week! By the 4th week people often don't feel like they are struggling to start but are working on maintaining a rhythm. Don't let those special gatherings disrupt your overall plan. I have a holiday brunch today and tomorrow, so I know this is a tough time. But I plan to do my best and totally be on target with calories the next day!

Great going on your success so far. :-)

Great job! I am doing my two-week weigh in tomorrow. I am nervous, but I am also anxious to see how I am doing. I feel like I am settling into my routine. This time of year is a bit tempting to indulge, I just have to remember not to!
