Happens to me always!! And weekends are my so called "cheat days" but I end up eating so much more than I should be eating in my cheat day itself..... Ah!!! Not sure when I will get out of it...

Back when I lived in a very highly populated area that had lots of kids, I completely avoided the candy leftover business by simply making small goodie bags filled with non food items. In it, I would put a puzzle book (mazes, word searches, crosswords, coloring) with a Halloween pencil, a bouncy ball, some crayons (I think they were the four pack or 8 pack variety), a Halloween spinny top. I got these at the Oriental Trading Company- you can buy things in bulk and they are very cheap. Kids loved them. They have beach balls, too- gave them out one year.

Another year I gave out I think Christmas/Hanukkah necklaces for the girls and those fun cardboard airplanes that you had to paint and assemble (they came with the paint sets) for the boys- it was really adorable seeing the girls wear the necklaces around Christmas/Hanukkah and the boys outside having fun, flying their personally decorated airplanes. Some of the girls actually took a plane instead of a necklace. They loved them, and when I had leftovers, I gave them to the kids around the neighborhood or friends of our kids or nieces and nephews. You can give out bubbles, too- lots of kids love those, especially girls, paddles and balls, jacks with the balls. Again, this place that I ordered them from was a diet saver! :D

I realized that I didn't even renew my gym pass in the month of February, which means I wasn't there AT. ALL. I blame this wicked winter we've had. Now that it's nice out I'm motivated like crazy.

I didn't exercise or mind my diet at all for the whole summer.

Happens to me too! You definitely are not alone.

It's actually really easy for me to pass on exercise. No matter how often I seem to do it I never get that "feel good" moment afterwards that most people seem to. I've been told it takes some time and eventually I'll feel that way and so on, but it's never happened.

What seems to be working for me this round is posting here. I'll post my meal plan, and what I'm doing for exercise and then I stick to it just like I would a routine for other health care things (cause really that's what it is). I try my best not to pay attention to excuses I make unless they're serious like weight injury.. cause really, I know when I'm just trying to talk myself out of exercising versus actually need a rest. I do rest days on the weekend, cause that's when boyfriends home and quite honestly I don't want to be exercising in front of anyone, even him.

Hang in there and get right back on track. You can do it!

This makes the two unplanned slices of homemade, chocolate-chip cheesecake that I ate last night seem not so bad. :)

Sometimes these things happen. *deep sigh*

I haven't worked out much since May. But, I was working on a new garden that I started last summer, and had my DH, plow me another new garden, that is going to be spot for strawberries, asparagus, and so on.

So, along with my job, I was spending 2 or 3 hours a day, hanging out in my gardens.

Gardening is over!

Putting on my blinders, and GYM is coming back! NO EXCUSES!

Because I don't have a good excuse.

Excuses are like belly buttons we all have one!:D

Self motivation above!;)

you are definitely not alone. I can think of so many times in my weight loss journey that I fell off the wagon. it is so easy when you stop watching what you eat one day then you do it the next day it just kind of snowballs. I know for me one big hardship was when my dad was diagnosed with cancer.. I was so scared and worried it was so hard not to go off track. I tried my best god knows I did and some days I just cracked under the pressure. believe me when you are an emotional eater and go through a rough patch it is really hard to stay on track. you can do it but its more difficult. so as you can see, you are not the only one who's been through a rough patch. you will get through this

Part of the reason I've gotten off track in the past is that I'm being too regimented as to what exercise is. I normally walk 3-5 miles a day 5 days a week and there have been times I've had to skip it. In the past that would have led to the next day because I couldn't "make up" my missed exercise. Now its a matter of picking up where I left off. Same with eating. There are times I go off plan but I'm learning to get back on plan with the next meal. No more beating myself up for missing a day or eating too much. This is a process.
