I douse anything carby with cinnamon because it's supposed to help temper your body's insulin response. (Perogies with sour cream and cinnamon? Not so great by the way).

I've also done cayenne on my eggs for the longest time.

Pretty hard to judge efficacy when I'm also full out dieting.

Can I just say that I love this thread? Lol. I think when you do little tricks and things, regardless of whether the trick works it's good for your psyche to stay in the weight loss mindset

I like hearing about people's little tips and tricks too. As long as it doesn't involve taking weight loss products/supplements or doing anything unsafe, I'm all for considering giving it a try!

ive used 5htp at various times because it does help control my appetite...however the effect seems to wear off over time if I continue taking it....ive also used a half pill of dexatrim to help control my appetite...an entire pill leaves me super jittery and i'm not a fan of diet pills...however a half pill gives me just enough appetite suppressant to where I can make better food choices and not be so impulsive in what I eat and how much of it I eat...I have additional energy without being jittery and it helps me stay within a good calorie count

Oh, I'm afraid I'm not a fan of pills of any kind. It takes everything I have just to take my prescribed Vitamin D, lol!
