And maybe make a call to animal control to pick up the dogs; hard to do but unless you're taking them in and spaying/neutering them, feeding them regularly, it's a terrible life/death on the streets. Esp that breed with people sometimes cruelly killing them out of fear. Or call a pit rescue ... there are options out there and if no one is taking them in but the neighbors are aware, you can ensure they don't suffer after being hit by a car, or at the hands of others.

Oh I already did when I first saw them. No one's been out to try to get them. I also called yesterday, and still nothing >_< It's really making me quite upset. I've also called friends to see if they'd take them on, and they're all full up on animals.

I hope someone responds to your calls...I think it's a nice thing that you did, at least until someone can pick them up...you helped fill their tummies.
I agree 100% with the other posters and think that it was some GREAT advise that I can even use myself. I think that we do need to have a better mindset that our body is our BODY and not a garbage can...that made complete sense to me. Glad it all worked out for you! Keep up the good work!! |
Yes, don't waste food. Serve that to the deserved ones. You will find people around you are starving. You can create awesome meals adding leftover foods together, why don't you try that?
