My Nike+ watch arrived today to track my distance running when I finally hit the road and get off the treadmill.
Four months ago, I would have said, "no I do not run, I take a taxi instead!"
And some bluetooth headphones also arrived. I used to think that bluetooth headphones were for @rseholes. But then, I broke my headphone jack while working out, so I kinda get the reason while wireless headphones are good for runners and the gym now.
Anyway, all very geeky but weird since it was not so long ago that I would have laughed at the mere suggestion that I would be buying this stuff.
Are you doing any things you once thought you'd never do?

I am all about practicality, saving a dime, and renouncing materialism...so I would have laughed in the face of anyone suggesting I would one day own a pair of shoes that cost more than $100. I will freely admit that they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn...but I still cringe at the cost!
Here's 5 I can think of off the top of my head.
) that my running shoes may be the most expensive shoes I own. Mine cost over a $100 a pop as well. No guilt here as I work the **** out them!
