Since I loved the "getting to 180" thread so much, and many of us have met that goal, I decided to start another. So anyone who wants to share in this mini journey, hop on!
The lowest I have gotten this round is 180.0, so right this minute I'm still itching to get below 180, but I'm hoping that tomorrow, I'll be there (it's be actually over a month I've been popping up and down between 180 and 184, but I just have a feeling). This morning I was at 180.4 Gah!
Anyhow, I guess I've been here long enough that I've already set my sights on 170. A couple of years ago I lost a bunch and the lowest I got to was 173, which I only touched for about a minute before everything went to pot. I'm super excited to get there again, but I'm also a little scared since last time I crashed and burned. But I have figured out a few things this time, so hopefully I will wiz on past it.
We can do this, rubidoux! I'm having a hard time getting into the 170s (only one day so far), but I am determined to get this weight off for good this time!
Hi! Can I join in? I am currently stuck at 180, but I am hoping to change up a few things in my diet/exercise routine to try and get a bit further. I would love to join you all in getting to 170, and getting into the 170s at all would make me so happy!
Welcome, EskaDee! I'm sure you'll be in the 170s in no time!
I was back in the 170s today (179.2), and I'm really hoping to not bounce back up! I am going to walk at least 4-5 times a week all through April and do my kettle bells. If I'm super diligent, maybe I'll be at 170 before Mother's Day.
Thanks for starting this Jennifer!!! I def loved the 180s thread!
I was at 179 this morning but I'm sure I'm going to be 180 by tomorrow. I bought so much easter clearance food for my mom and I ate a good portion and now I feel sick, you think I would learn lol
You are all so inspiring. I can't wait to get out of the 180s. Hitting 170 seems like so far away although I know it can happen in 2-5 weeks depending how fast the weight continues to come off. I clearly remember my heart sinking as the scale climbed over the past few years, I am excited to see the number going down now. I haven't worn my wedding ring in quite some time, so hopefully my fat little fingers will start to slim down too.
I was at 179.8 this morning. Still not where I was Saturday, but at least down 1.2 from yesterday! I have to be more vigilant in what goes in my mouth. Evenings kill me!
Btw any of you check your weight on multiple scales??
I have a scale but I almost feel like I need another one to back up my weight so I'm not overly excited for no reason. I think it's also bc i am not noticing the weight loss yet which is pretty frustrating for me. Does anyone else have this issue?
Literally all my pants and shirts fit snug like they did when I was at 200. I mean I'm thankful the scale is going down but I'd love to actually see it!
Yay, hhm6! I only have one scale, which is probably enough of an obsession for me! I do move it around and weigh 3-4 times a morning though
I'm at 179.6 this am. I cannot seem to get below 179, so I'm going to be super careful about my eating this week. I'm also (sad face) going to seriously limit my alcohol intake. It's not that I drink a ton, but 1-2 every other day or so adds up to a lot of empty calories. DH and I are also walking 3.5-4.5 miles about 5 times a week. I really want to be in the 160s by DD's graduation party on May 19!
My weigh in today was 181.6, so I'm looking to get into the 170s in the next two weeks. I'm not rushing it at all, as I tried to before and it backfired on me - I lost motivated and gained like 20 pounds, lol. So, slow ans steady will work for me.
I weigh myself once a week, usually Friday or over the weekend. I use the scale to measure the amount of work I did for myself over the week. This is my second week, and I've been losing 1-2 pounds each week. Hopefully, I can keep it up!
