Default I was gonna binge...

on some pancakes cooked in butter flavored crisco (gives the pancakes a crispy edge!!). Pancakes have always been a comfort food for me, so warm and deliciously yummy! I've been feeling a bit moody (coming up on the time of the month, and it's where I binge the most), and nothing sounded better than golden delicious pancakes.

Then I found a bug in my pancake mix =(

I wasn't sure whether to feel happy or sad about it, cause I really really wanted them! But, in the end, I made a couple scrambled eggs with a pinch of fat free cheese instead. It didn't curb the craving completely, but it curbed the hunger and I found that I could deal with it a lot better.

I just felt like sharing =) I feel like someone was looking out for me by putting that bug in there, lol!!

I'm glad you hedged a binge, even if it was a bit of an accident.

Now I urge you to find strategies that would work in situations where your food hasn't been bugged . That's going to be your real ace in the hole throughout the process of losing and maintaining weight. There might not always be a helpful insect, but your determination and sense of self will always be with you if you set it to working for your health and not against it.

Way to go! I wasn't going to binge, but I was planning to have a bowl of ice cream today, but I ended up having turkey salad and no longer wanted the ice cream.
