I think you look adorable. It's not what I would think is appropriate for a wedding, but that doesn't mean you don't look awesome :). More demure is a better choice for weddings, like a sundress/strappy sandals/shrug combo.

That dress is just tooo cute on you... But wedding no.... DATE yes! :) You have the nicest legs (not meaning anything by that)... I have a feeling you could give Gwyneth Paltrow a run in the leg department.
Have a great time shopping... I think you might just have the "light bulb" moment when you try on the dresses showing how wonderful you look! PS you look like the actress on General Hospital who plays Maxie... :) |
It definitely looks cute on you. Would look great with some red shoes and accessories to tie in the belt. Also, you're simply very pretty.
But I agree that its not wedding appropriate. |
Looks like I'm outnumbered - I don't think it's inappropriate for a wedding, but it isn't my taste in general. But I do agree that you aren't "too fat" for it.

I think it looks a little short on you.. if you still have that black dress, you could doll it up with a really bright color like yellow or orange (if it's an outdoor, spring/summer wedding)
if it's inside, you could doll it up with some darker colors like blue or purple. That's what i'd do..? lol |
:carrot: The outfit is cute, and you do not look fat!
That said, most likely, just my personal taste, since it will probably be warm, I'd opt for a "classic" sleeveless little black dress, just above the knee, and doll it up with accessories. I do have 2 weddings to go to this summer and found the greatest little black dress! If for some reason, I decide to not wear it to both weddings, I have a nice backup. A summer dress, spaghetti straps, figure flattering cut, just above the knee hem, "small" navy blue and white floral print. Again, just my taste, but when I go to a wedding, unless I'm in the wedding and have to wear the brides choice, I want to look my best, but not distract from the bride or the bridal party. |
