First Weigh-In Jitters, Help?

Hey! I started the Ideal Protein Diet last Tuesday (4/16) and I have my first "weigh-in" appointment tomorrow. I am really worried about it. I have been following the plan, but I cant tell if I have lost weight or if I am in Ketosis.

How can you tell? Did anyone feel this way about their first meeting? How are you doing now?
Thanks for the support!

I'm not doing IP, but don't get too discouraged if you haven't lost as much as you had hoped. Good luck!

I'm crazy pants and like being in the know. So I'd probably buy a scale and ketosis testing strips.

I'm going to 2nd lunarsongbird. I would know if I was in ketosis - I get sick as a dog. I can't do very low carb for long. But if my body could handle it, I'd want to know and would get the kit to test and a good scale for weight tracking. Of course, I'm a daily scale junkie - but I keep a record in excel tracking my weight and only look at the 3 day average and weekly loss numbers. Daily weight can fluctuate so much (I went down 2 lbs yesterday and up 2 today). Give it time. Dieting is as much about patience as it is about willpower (or won't power, or sheer stubbornness). I have to learn that, myself. It's easier to say than do.
