I eat when I'm bored, happy, sad, mad, hungry, full, lonely, whatever the feeling is. Its sad, but true, I love food, but I had to realize that the type of foods and amounts I was eating didn't love me back. I would go to bed almost every night so full I felt I would burst.
Now I have to make myself eat on a schedule and watch my portions to keep from over doing it. I now have a lot more energy, and feel more confident about myself. But it's something I struggle with several times a day and probably will for a long time :?: |
For me it used to be because I was bored or procrastinating, or had cravings for some particular flavour.
Nowadays, I eat because the clock tells me I should eat, or to kill hunger pains. Kinda lost interest in food. Some nights I'll leave room for dessert, only to 'forget' all about it!! Weird, because I used to have dessert just about every night. |
I eat when:
I'm tired: carbs I'm nervous: chewy things I'm sad: carbs +sugar (ex: pancakes) I want a reward/ pleasure: chocolate dessert I'm stressed: beer |
Boredom And depression caused me to eat. I guess I would get a rush fro
sweets so I just kept eating them. Then I would feel bad about it and what was my solution, well duh eat more! |
