In need of help
I have been doing this dieting and weightloss thing for years. I did lose a sizeable amount of weight in Overeaters Anonymous. I lost 80 lbs. by eating 3 meals a day, no sugar flour or wheat...called a sponsor daily to commit my food (but usually changed my food) went to 3 meetings a week and associated with only OA people. I was thinner and what I did was working...but the first time I ate a potato...it was all over. I went crazy and gained all the weight back and then some. Here I sit 30 years later and i constantly try to recreate those weightloss times. I try to eat no sugar, no flour, no wheat now and i fail and fail again. I have diabetes and high blood pressure. I try to do that diet again and I wind up bingeing...I need a new way to do things. I need to eat healthy. I am at such a loss..I will not go back to OA again because that was then and this is now. I need direction and don't know where to go. If I am not perfect with my eating, then I am bingeing. Does anyone relate or have any suggestions for me...Patty
