Thyroid Issues - Natrual treatments??
 

I know I need to go to my doctor and get some blood work done to confirm that I am having thyroid issues. I hate taking a ton of medication long term and wondering if there is anyone on the forum who has struggled with thyroid issues and have controlled it with natural supplements.

Thyroid problems do run in my family so I am not surprised that I am starting to have problems with mine, especially at my age. I am having the depression (which I do take meds for), lack of energy, brain fog, etc. Added to this, I am beginning menopause. I would like to hear of others experience and alternative treatments before my doctor starts prescribing life long meds for me.
